“I can say from personal experience. Being dragged here awake isn’t much better. If you can get past that rather large detail. This place isn’t that terrible, like you said.” She answered with a faint smile. “I don’t know about you, but I’m still trying to get past that part.”
“awake?? that’s even worse, i’m sorry that happened to you.” renesmee replied with a frown. “yeah, that’s certainly understandable.” there was something strangely familiar about the other, but she couldn’t quite place it. “i’m sorry, but have we ever met before??”

renesmee let out a quiet laugh at his actions, shaking her head slightly. “i would, but it’s just way too early for me to even think about alcohol.”

“well, yeah --- there’s plenty of creepy things out there and you’re right, scarier things can happen but that doesn’t mean this still isn’t terrifying.” renesmee raised a brow at the man. “yeah, me too. i just want to know why we’re here, but i doubt we’ll be getting an answer anytime soon.”

“yeah, exactly!! at first i was thinking about how weird it was that i was in a town with no possible means of escape, but then my mind went back to how i actually got here and now i feel really weird.”

“pretty much, yeah.” renesmee replied with a quiet chuckle. “i know, i just don’t get why we were all brought here against our will --- it doesn’t make sense.”

“yeah, it’s just insane. i mean, of all the places to be trapped in, it’s not that bad. which i suppose is a benefit, but we are still stuck.”

“is that what happened? i dragged myself out of the water – i’m not really sure what’s going on but if that happened…” he said thinking about it. “is this some kind of prison island or something?” he said thinking about what he could remember, a lot of pieces were missing.
“oh god, you were in the water?? i’m sorry, but you’re probably going to need to sit down for a minute.” renesmee replied worriedly. “the thing is, from what i’ve seen and heard, the water does crazy things to people. it makes them lose their memories or act all strange. but yeah, we can’t leave this place. we’re stuck.”

“this has got to be some kind of joke. i’m fed up of this.” angelina spoke to no one in particular, her nerves finally getting to her. she had to leave this place, she had to get back home.

Cassian felt devastated. He was alone. Totally and utterly alone. The ball, that should have been his chance to finally reunite with Jyn fully went totally wrong. She was gone. Jyn was gone again for whatever reason and had left him here. On this blasted island no one seemed to be able to leave. Why…. why had she done this to him? Why was he even still alive with everything that had happened on Scarif?
Lost in his thoughts, brows deeply furrowed and with an aura of despair radiating around him, Cassian stood at one of the cliffs. Very close to the edge. Too close to the edge. Maybe he should just jump. Cassian had heard that you could lose your memory if you would jump into the water, trying to escape from the island this way. That, or you could die. But then, what did he have that made it still worth to live? Even more since he was supposed to be dead already, anyway.
“Maybe I should just jump….” he muttered, mostly to himself, attention fully laying on the waves crashing against the cliff under his feet. “Maybe I should just jump….”
angelina had found her way to the waters, not getting particularly close, but by the rocks. she wanted some time out to try and understand why and how she’d been brought to some strange island with no means of escape. it was a hopeless situation and no matter how much she thought about all the different ways she could leave --- in the end it proved to be useless.
however, when she heard a mumbling nearby, the witch took it upon herself to try and discover the source. it turned out to be a man standing at a cliff. his words instantly put her on red alert and she automatically walked over to stand beside the stranger. “hey, are you alright?? jumping wouldn’t be the best of ideas, now, would it?? c’mon, let’s get you back somewhere safe.”
