The nuke destroyed one ship. That was one of the last things Tony could see before his eyes closed. The gate closed, ensuring that he couldn’t fall back to earth. He was so far away from earth, that he knew this was probably his end. Unknown to him this was not the only ship. The second, bigger ship, picked him up, peeled him out of his suit and threw him into a cell. 

This was where he woke up, a stranger in an alien ship, surrounded by these Chitauri and…a blue woman. Great. “Who are you?”

Everybody on board the Sanctuary II watched as one brave and, in her eyes, incredibly foolish Terran risked his own life to save so many. And while was father was less than impressed by losing an entire ship to the Terran, the time he took to fall back to the portal was more than enough for them to pick him up. There was something about him that made Thanos curious, so once captured, they threw him in a cell, Proxima guarding over him.

“Names don’t matter here.” She said in a grave tone. “You’re a prisoner of the Chitauri now, that should suffice for now.”

The one task she had was making sure nobody would suspect a thing while Corvus would get the android carrying the mind stone on his forehead, and get him safely back to the Q-Ship before bringing him to Thanos. While Corvus could get the stone out himself, he wanted to leave the honours to their father, and Proxima agreed with that. 

She was about to leave the strange looking place, the Avengers Headquarters, when she spotted somebody else roaming to hallway. Within an instant, she seized the woman by her neck and slammed her to the nearby wall, a deep frown on her face. 

“One more word and I’ll make sure it will be your last.”

           “Yeah, well, I’m not…. so–” Toni looks around, remarking that they’ve managed not to make a disaster of the place. She wouldn’t lie and say it’s not a little satisfying to see Proxima on her knees. This IS the event she’s been gearing up for for the past couple of years. And here it is, alien life touched down with malicious intent. In her home, no less. “What were you looking for? You almost ruined a family heirloom, so I’m a little pissed.”

Oh this was almost adorable. Almost. If she thought Proxima would give information away that easily, Stark should have known better. Despite the pain she felt, she gritted her teeth, the glare on her face deepening and now accompanied by a frown. “How dumb do you think I am? You think I will tell you even a thing? You should think twice then.”

Michelle decided to sit down in front of the Moma, when the alien ship first breached the atmosphere and came down. The kids around her ran about, but Michelle sat by frozen as she saw superheroes zoom in and out, trying to defend what they had to defend. And for some reason Spider-Man seemed to zoom around her in a way, as if wanting to make sure she was okay. Eventually, the thing disappeared, the chaos calmed down, there was no sight of most of the superheroes, except for Spider-Man, whom she suspected she secretly knew. And then there was something else. Someone else, someone blue with horns. She seemed to look at her directly. And as she walked ahead Michelle knew she was. And that usually was not a good thing. She ran - but she stood no chance. Soon the alien woman had her.

The instructions were clear - get the time stone and bring it back to Thanos. In theory, it was very simple, but actually getting the theory into deed proved much more difficult. Earth’s mightiest heroes, she had to snort at that thought, or at least some of them engaged, proving taking the time stone a much longer and more tedious process. She let Maw and Cull handle the wizard and his friends, as Proxima had her eyes on somebody else. the little annoying insect, but more specifically, his little friend he subtly tried to keep safe but only gave her away. A malicious smirk appeared on her face as Proxima seized the opportunity of the girl standing frozen to come closer to her. It was almost adorable to see her try and run away, but it was child’s play to catch up to her and grab her by the hand. 

“You and I will go to a fun place.” She said, sneering at her.

If glares could kill, Proxima’s would have then and there as she glared up at the woman in the iron suit. She had been warned, not just by Thanos, but by Corvus as well, to not engage until necessary, and she deemed the situation safe enough for her to engage. If she knew she’d end up in the enemies clutches, she’d pull back when she could. Yet here she was, a large and deep gash on her side, blood oozing slowly from the wound.

“Spare me of your snarky comments, Terran. If things would have gone differently, you’d be in my place now.”

At first she didn’t say a thing, merely standing in the corner of the barely lit room, her jade coloured eyes fixed on the woman on the ground in front of her. Proxima let out a sneer, the tips of her spear glowing in an icy-blue colour. Personally, she was against bringing the famed Antonia Stark to Sanctuary II, but her father had other plans with the woman who was supposedly ‘cursed with the same knowledge’ as he was. Proxima sneered, finally emerging from the shadows. 

“The great Thanos sees you as a worthy opponent. And don’t you Terrans have a saying? Keep you friends close but enemies closer, is it not? That is exactly the reason you’re here and not dead in the nearest ditch, where I personally would love to see you..”

Protip for courting Proxima: sweet words and flowers don’t work on her. If you want to win her heart, try gifting her a lethal weapon or the severed head of her enemy. For a first date it’s recommended to take her out on a killing spree, or have the person she hates kidnapped and organize a little ‘torture your enemy’ date.

After New York, after bringing Loki to Asgard, after losing him and their mother, he decided to go on a journey. Well it seemed like he was not destined to go far. As he ran into a couple of chitauri, he didn’t expect to be welcomed nicely, naturally. But he also did not expect to be overpowered and basically kidnapped. He was out of it for a while and then woke up on a strange planet.

Capturing the Asgardian was way too easy. Loki’s brother. The memories of that pathetic, sleazy waste of space proved useful after all. Their father had told them who the blond god was, and what do to with him. It was Proxima’s turn to keep an eye on him during the journey and when they finally landed on Titan. The planet, while half destroyed, still served its purpose. It took the Asgardian almost half a day to come to, but the moment Proxima spotted him shifting on the ground, she approached him, kicking him in the gut.

“Rise and shine.” She hissed.

There was a pause in her actions, quite the puzzled look on her face as she narrowed her eyes at the boy standing in front of her. Earth’s mightiest heroes, she thought with a small snort, more to herself. Earth’s mightiest heroes,and this is who they sent? The thought alone was quite amusing, seeing it with her own eyes had her struggle not to laugh.

“You should run along, boy, unless you wish to meet the three razor sharp tips of my spear.”

Slowly and steadily, Proxima walked over the bodies to the dead Asgardians on the Statesman, searching for potential survivors that yet had to be killed. In truth, she thought all of them dead except for the sleazy trickster and his brother, but that was all until she caught movement with the corner of her eye. Instantly, she pointed her spear at he other, sneering with a malicious grin.

“One wrong move and I will make sure it’ll be your last.”
