Another one had popped up now. Her kids were running amuck in McKinley, that much was obvious. But, as for Kol? Well, he was sporting a different look, of course. One she understood, for she was doing the same. Of course, the motherly instincts were there, and she wanted nothing more than to dote on her child, but alas, it wasn’t the time. Not yet. Not until she figured out where she stood with recent events. “I’m aware.” An eyebrow cocked at the sudden interest in this place. “Apparently McKinley has become quite the tourist destination.” Most of those people seemed supernaturally inclined, though. “At this point, I think I’m just going to play it by ear tonight.” It wasn’t top of her agenda, she was sure she’d figure it out either way. “Are you amongst the ‘influx’ of arrivals?” She was aware of the answer, but Esther was keen to keep conversation for a little while longer.
.
Kol chuckled. He had to be completely honest, Mystic Falls was hard enough to stay in as he adjusted to the twenty first century upon his awakening, and when he was brought back he was hoping to be able to escape his family drama - never being one to stay in one place for too long. “It really has... I have no idea why, its a god awful place, if it wasn’t for my family - “ since deep down all Kol wanted was his families acceptance - “I very much doubt I would stay here...” he admitted. “I am... I appear to have followed some of my other family members here like some lost little puppy dog... stupid me..” he shrugged.
