I keep seeing ads for a movie called "Deep Water" and it shows the pilot of an airplane as the plane crashes into the sea and it's this actor (I believe he's Ben Kingsley but I'm probably wrong because I've got a Swiss cheese brain) and instead of seeing him as a new character, I keep seeing him as Trevor from Marvel who is a total dope but I adore his character because of how goofy he is.

And the fact that in the ad, it starts by him going "mayday, mayday, mayday!" Makes me actually laugh because I hear him saying this in Iron Man 3 and I cannot see him as anyone else but Trevor. Oof 😅

Anyone else have these issues? Where an actor who's been in a movie (or movies) you love is in another and you can't see them as anyone else? 👀
