I don’t care how many times i will end up seeing sm:h. The scene where the vulture has him and is grabbing and jumping on his half conscious body will forever make me feel as if every bone in my body is crumbling into nothing. This fifteen year old boy is being beaten to the point where he can’t move a single muscle in his body (even his face and that kills me). He, somehow, gets up a minute later because all of a sudden he’s not worried about his life he’s worried about someone else’s. not to mention the man who was just beating him to a pulp. This scene is the most powerful one in the movie and we all know it but it can never get enough recognition. This scene is so powerful, almost two months later it’s still on repeat in my head.

imagine you’re mad at your boyfriend peter for something stupid and all he wants to do is apologize and he keeps trying to kiss you all over because he knows it’ll break down the little wall you’ve guarded yourself in and it almost works but you keep turning away. After a little while of this back and forth he’ll say, “ ok one kiss and i’ll leave you alone”. and you’ll just shake your head because he messed up a little more than normal this time. and he’ll pout then it’ll turn in to a little cheeky grin for a second but he’ll cover it up then say, “but… I’m spiderman”. and you’ll give in because it has never once failed to get him what he wants. and for some reason it pulls one extra heart string deeeeeep inside you where it makes you realize that he puts himself in danger every night as spiderman and one night he might not come back. it snaps some perspective into you for a second so there’s nothing you can do but give in to him (as long as it’s reasonable). you made him swear not to use the phrase too often though bc as soon as he found out it worked like it did, he would say it all the time. you two would be roaming queens after school and he’d want ice cream and a similar situation would happen where you say no and he keeps begging like a little kid. then he’d throw out the phrase “but… i’m spiderman” and you couldn’t say no. the promise you two made included keeping the saying to a twice a week maximum. Peter now calculates when he’s used the spidey card throughout the week and he makes sure to use it in important situations, sometimes breaking the one rule.

help buy grace a wheelchair attachment to get her to university

hi everyone!! my name is grainne but i go by grace! i’m from scotland in the uk and i have cerebral palsy, this year i’ve been offered a place at university!! but my university is built on a lot of hills and i would struggle to get to classes on my own. i really really value my independence so i am looking to buy an electric wheelchair attachment to help me get around - a SMARTDriveMX2!! it’s a wheel that attaches to the back of your wheelchair to give you more power going up hills.

i can’t stress how much this would improve my life, not only for university, but just in general as getting around on my own can be really difficult. if i was to get this it would be like a weight off my shoulders, i could go to university, i could go travelling, go shopping ect just normal things without having to worry about being tired or sore!! the freedom that abled bodied people get doesn’t seem so far away!

the only problem is that the SMARTDriveMX2 is £5750 and i start university in september!! i really hate to ask anyone for money but there’s no way i can afford this on my own - so if you can please please donate!!
