Ms. Pac-Man score, 215,670 points.
Back on my 250k self challenges. I’ve been playing one game per day, cold.

I have one of these! Really nice machine, a DEC LP (low profile). Mine is a 486DX33, but they also sold 386 machines in the same pizzabox case.
I wish I had a matching monitor. Maybe I should look for the correct keyboard and mouse.
Total Nuclear Annihilation, by Spooky Pinball. Vector Volcano, Bend, OR.
I miss the days of being able to watch broadcast television on a Game Gear. What’s more preposterous: bringing all the necessary equipment to hook a Freeview box up to the system out into the garden, or constructing a short range UHF transmitter so I don’t have to?
i was just thinking this afternoon about how i could totally start watching broadcast tv again if someone made some cute little specialised device on which to do it. or just something i could plug into my 3ds or vita!
THE GAME GEAR TV TUNER
IT BETRAYS THE LAW
I've been having similar thoughts. Since everyone has switched to digital, all the NTSC broadcast equipment had gone to surplus.
Easy mode is a Blonder Tongue Agile Modulator, which can be had for $30-$50, and will give you a single channel. You're can use a DVD player, VCR, Raspi etc to provide the composite video source.
Hard mode would be combining several signals onto different channels so you could tune them in on your receiver. That's what I want, but it's several hundred dollars to get the equipment.
The DMD in my Dracula quit, so time for a shiny color DMD.
I put white t-moulding on my Fire Escape, and I think it looks really sharp.
This Wells-Gardner V1001 B&W monitor (in my Space Zap) is two months younger than I am.
Interesting.
I've played one of these, they were made around 2003-4-5 by Namco. They use the same cabinets as the cabaret Ms. Pac / Galaga Reunion and DK/DKJr/Mario Bros games released around the same time.
The monitor is vertical, so Missile Command had been updated to work with it. It's not scaled down, so it plays rather differently. Same for Mario Bros on the vertical DK machine.
Here’s one you don’t see every day, a Mech-Tronic/ICE Fire Escape.
This is a hybrid electronic/mechanical game, similar to Ice Cold Beer.
Definitely a favorite of mine which they have up at Grinkers Grand Palace. I couldn’t stop playing this while I was there last.
Is this played using only mechanical parts?
The controls are all physical, but the ball trips switches depending on where it goes, which signals a game PCB what happened. The game PCB controls the segment display for the score, a flashing bulb, game sounds, etc.
It's not electromechanical like an EM game, it's more like a solid state pinball machine.

Those seats look like they've seen some real shit in the Space Wars.
How do we all feel about the SNK Neo Geo Mini? Personally, I think they’ve done a nice job with the aesthetic.
It looks nice, I hate the button layout.
Very annoyed to discover more dead columns on the Gameboy I already fixed this issue on. I prefer it when repair work stays done.
