We as artists and writers like having sources for stuff, right? And we like giving credit to other artists for their work, right? Well, I've compiled a collection of resources I've personally used and thoroughly believe would benefit others.

Just like with the blank Birthday Boy Card templates I made, I decided I wanted blank ones for these...whatever these icons are called. So I made them!
First of all!
Here's two transparent ones, so you can sandwhich your drawing layer between them without fearing messing up the frame.
I added two because not all drawing programs understand the whole 'transparency' thing with pasted images, and will make any transparent part of an image black, which would kinda ruin it
So with the white you can just remove the color. Or alternatively, since I made the frame with a pixel tool, while it might be time-consuming, you can still remove all the white by hand without messing up the frame at all
I made two for Heartslabyul, so you can either have a Card Soldier one, or just a blank one
With the details on Octavinelle and Pomefiore's, I suggest copying them, placing them to the side and covering up the holes with the background color, so you can place them wherever you'd like once you're done with your own drawing
So you don't have to work around where I placed them 👍
And if you want differently-shaped bubbles, the bubble color is the same grey as in the frame
The Scarabia one is sadly pretty empty :/ but meh, they didn't give me a lot to work with, and I wasn't gonna add something 'just because'
Bright blue one is obviously Ramshackle. I have a feeling people are gonna get a lot of use out of that one haha
And the NRC Staff ones are...a bit of a special case. They're all slightly different but it seems the general theme is:
For teachers: grey background with beige/gold pattern
For other staff(for example Crowley and Sam) gold background
I just used the square as a placeholder so you can eye-drop the color in the first one. And in the 2nd and 3d I included all the colors I've seen used in the staff coffins. red and the lighter shade of beige are usually only for the actual images INSIDE the coffins though.
I also added Vargas and Crewel's ones without their individual images (for Vargas a head of some kind of animal with antlers and for Crewel a dalmatian) by comparison, kinda like a 'this is what it could look like' thing

"You chose me. Despite everything. How foolish of you, Miss Adams. But then again, I've admittedly been a fool myself."
Nine days. Nine days where damages have been done. Irreversible. Moments where Rollo once held himself under a righteous light. Believed that his cause would pave the way to fruitful outcomes.
Yet they turned out to be blind ambitions that eventually led to grave consequences. How foolish.
Miss Adams he brought back on the tenth day. To the infernal wasteland where the very monsters he swore to protect her from ran rampant. A place where her heart truly belongs.
The thought twists his core. Magic users. Banes of existence. He had to watch Hayley walk back inside the dragon's den to dance with the predators who preyed on her.
He could be wrong, and to admit his mistake would left an ashy taste on his tongue.
"I deeply apologize, Headmaster Crowley, for the inhumane actions I have committed. The fault is completely mine as Noble Bell has nothing to do with it."
Night Raven College's headmaster, a suspicious character whose forgiveness came easy despite the first few minutes of angry chatter—boundless benevolence indeed. And Hayley, bless her soft heart, found not an ounce of loathing against him.
It might be too late for apologies. Forgiveness is a privilege Rollo could only grant himself with. And so asking for a piece of her heart came off as an absurd notion.
Heaven above, how he yearned for it whole.
"Miss Adams."
Ramshackle Dorm. What a pitiful structure. But it's home to none other than the magicless girl Rollo once thought he could control. More than Noble Bell's hospitality had ever offered her.
At the main entrance she stood. With her wide curious eyes and raven hair cascading behind her figure. A perfect fit—she belongs to Night Raven College and never with him.
"I treated you poorly," he began, "as I told myself it was to protect you."
Retract while it's early. To ask for her heart so pure, what shame for a sinful man. Unworthy. Inappropriate.
"I do not expect forgiveness, and I understand if you never wish to see me again." The breath hitched in Hayley's throat. Rollo knew he should draw back. But the words refused to cease. "But suppose there is a part of you that still believes I am worthy of your affection..."
His head bowed, eyes lidded and vulnerable. With his heart in his throat, he uttered such selfish words.
"Please allow me the honor of courting you properly."
November 10th | Friday
"I'm undeserving of such a right. Nonetheless, I'm eternally grateful."
It made no difference. The very notion of binding her soul with his makes a gilded cage. Was it a means of atonement? The guilt clawed beneath his skin. The memory of her smile, warm as it was scorching.
A sinner begging for redemption, how he wished his god would refuse to hear his prayers.
November 11th | Saturday
"Should you find the time to spare, would you grant me the honor of your presence on a Sunday evening?"
How ironic. To think she found no hint of resentment towards him, could she have lost her mind? The thought of his name left her heart aflutter, not out of fear or hatred, but of a specific moment once shared.
Past mistakes could never be erased by a single kiss.
November 12th | Sunday
"A time well spent. I pray that you return the same viewpoint."
Foolish girl. He who could've potentially set another trap, and she who waltzed back into his waiting palm. Unguarded and ingenuous. How could he merit such deep faith?
That night was particularly bright. He watched the stars caught in her raven hair.
November 13th | Monday
"Suppose you grew tired of receiving letters, please do not hesitate to inform me."
Words weaved into parchment. Ink with which he bled into, his soul laid bare. She read them more than once. His intent was crystal clear, but the script held no malice. Just as he was when she was held in that room.
Point out the mistakes. Let him learn from them. She held on to that belief.
November 14th | Tuesday
"I passed by the bell tower this morning. I found it quite emptied in your absence."
A fleeting memory, the Bell bore witness to a moment shared beneath the stars. Her tongue knew sharpness where her lips held intimacy. He let his guard down through temptation and sin. The fault was his to bear.
The kiss be damned. His original sin rooted from a past he couldn't escape.
November 15th | Wednesday
"There was never a passing moment where I wasn't plagued by thoughts of you."
Could he have proven his worth? She could only grant him the answer. A man who once caged her from the world now offered it in his hands. Saints above, only she had the power to bring him to his knees.
How pitiful to see such a lowly man yearn for his god's grace.
November 16th | Thursday
"My beloved..."
Her arrival unannounced, Hayley stood before Noble Bell College's lecture hall. The same hall where she once stood among the rest of the student guests. That fateful night of the masquerade.
What ever could her sudden appearance mean? Rollo held on to his handkerchief, his knuckles turning white lest they tremble if he were to loosen his grip.
"Senpai..."
Hayley's voice, like a melody fluttering in the air. Sure steps closed the distance between them. Rollo's head felt light, his gaze held by the depths of her eyes. A hand reached up to touch his cheek. Her lips open to utter words...
A kiss spoke more volumes.
"You chose me. Despite everything. How foolish of you, Miss Adams."
Rollo held on to her. His sole lifeline. His salvation. "But then again, I've admittedly been a fool myself." A fool indeed. Perhaps it's the only way he could believe the worth he has. And that belief he would desperately grasp.
"My beloved..." A kiss filled with longing. Of deep yearning. Her grace he was finally granted with. Blessed.
The walk back was soundless save for the faint hum of the night insects and the faint click-click of Idia’s holo-boots against the path. His hair burned in soft cerulean gradients, light spilling over your hands when you walked too close.
“Uh… y-you didn’t have to walk me...” you murmured, smiling.
He flinched at that— not at your words, but at the sound of your smile. “W–well, yeah, I mean— statistically, people who walk alone at night have a 27% higher chance of—uh—unfortunate encounters, and I, uh— I didn’t want to be a variable in that!”
You laughed at his reasoning which broke his rhythm completely. His hair pulsed brighter, betraying his mood like a confession in colour.
The dorm loomed ahead, and you turned toward him. “Well, I’m home safe now. Thanks, Idia.”
He shifted from foot to foot, hoodie half-zipped, eyes darting anywhere but you. “Y-yeah. Mission accomplished. Go you.”
But then… he didn’t leave. The silence stretched, delicate as spun glass. His hair dimmed, softening to a shade closer to the heartbeat of a candle.
“Idia?” you asked gently.
He stared at you — at the faint sheen of lamplight in your eyes, at how close you stood — and his breath stuttered. Something in him short-circuited, and before his mind could reboot, he leaned forward.
A feather-light press to your forehead.
It was over in a heartbeat, but the world didn’t seem to restart right away. The glow of his hair flared bright enough to turn the shadows blue, and when he pulled back, he looked like he’d just committed a felony against the laws of physics.
“I— I didn’t— that wasn’t— oh my god, delete that from memory right now—” He fumbled backward, covering his face with both sleeves. “That was a misclick! A glitch in my emotional OS! Please, pretend you didn’t see— no, feel— no, experience— any of that!”
You could barely hold back a laugh. “A misclick, huh?”
“YES!” he said, voice muffled in his hoodie, “a totally normal, knightly, emotionally stable misclick!”
“Then I’ll treasure the bug report.” you tilted your head, warmth still humming where his lips had touched.
“I—” His words crumbled into static. Then, with a half-strangled noise, he spun on his heel, muttering to himself as he walked off:
“Great job, Idia. Real smooth. 404: composure not found…”
You watched his figure retreat into the dark, his flame trailing behind like a guilty comet, and smiled. For all his coding metaphors, Idia Shroud had just written a new kind of line—one that ran straight across your heart.
Riddle Roseheart
The garden was still at dusk, every rose obediently facing the sinking sun. You stood beside Riddle as he closed the Rule Book, fingers lingering on the worn spine longer than necessary.
“You’ve done well today.” he said — soft, but still wearing the edge of command. “And you managed followed every instruction perfectly.”
“Is that your way of saying you’re proud of me?”
Colour touched his cheeks like dawn spilling through porcelain. “I— that’s not the phrasing I’d use. But… yes. Perhaps.”
He turned slightly away, adjusting his gloves, the gesture tidy yet betraying nervous energy. The lamplight grazed his hair; even his shadow seemed disciplined. But something restless glimmered beneath the red of his eyes — a hesitation fighting propriety.
“You can say it, you know. It won’t break any rules.”
He looked up then, startled by your closeness. For a heartbeat, you saw the boy beneath the prefect: all precision, all restraint — and the ache of someone who has never been allowed softness.
“Breaking rules…” he murmured with a voice quieter now, “is not always wrong, I suppose.”
Before either of you could think to move, he leaned forward. A brief, trembling kiss — right to your forehead. Not perfect, not planned. A quiver of warmth that smelled faintly of roses and ink.
When he drew back, his breath caught, as though he’d stepped over a line no one had drawn for him. “There...” he said, voice tight, as if wrapping himself in formality again. “Consider that… your reward for good conduct.”
You laughed, and he looked scandalized by it. “Riddle, that wasn’t a reward. That was—”
“An act of acknowledgment—” he interrupted, eyes darting anywhere but yours. “Entirely proper. Entirely.” but the way his ears flushed betrayed him. His composure was crumbling, petal by petal.
“Still—” you said softly, “thank you. It was very… kind.”
He exhaled, finally meeting your gaze — the rulemaker and the rule breaker, suspended between order and affection.
“If kindness,” he said slowly, “is a crime… then I suppose I’ll accept the penalty.” thus the roses swayed, whispering around you, as if the entire garden conspired to keep his secret.
Sebek Zigvolt
“You may… return to your dorm now!” Sebek declared, his voice cutting through the gentle hush of evening like a sword drawn too swiftly. The air itself seemed to tremble at the force of it, as though even the crickets were momentarily cowed into silence.
You blinked at him, amused. “You’re walking me all the way back again?”
“O–of course!” he barked, his shoes clinking as he straightened to full, almost heroic height. “A knight does not abandon his charge halfway to safety! What if some ill-intentioned creature dared approach you? I would never forgive myself!”
The lamplight softened the sharpness of his words, gilding the edges of his embarrassment. You could see it — that flush climbing from collar to ear, the noble fire in his eyes battling the quiet, human heat of fluster.
“Right~” you said, voice gentle. “Of course, my brave knight.”
The title struck him like a blessing and a blow. His breath caught — shoulders stiff, chin high — and yet, his ears burned scarlet. He carried that tension all the way to your dorm’s steps, walking as though balancing his pride upon a blade’s edge.
When you turned to thank him, he didn’t leave. He only stood there, a soldier at war with his heart.
“Sebek?”
He looked at you — really looked — and the storm inside him reached its crest. His hand rose halfway, faltered, and his jaw clenched like a gate against too many words. Then, with the abruptness of a man leaping into battle, he bent forward and pressed a kiss — quick, warm, and trembling with conviction — to your forehead.
His breath ghosted against your skin, and for an instant, you could hear his heart stammering behind the proud armour. Then he drew back, eyes wide, colour flooding his face in a crimson wave.
“There!” he proclaimed, voice cracking but firm, the words tumbling out in their full, earnest bravado. “A gesture of commendation! For your unwavering spirit today! Be… be honoured!”
Your laughter came softly, like light glancing off water. “Thank you, Sir Sebek.”
Sebek puffed his chest, eyes darting anywhere but at you. “Hmph! Naturally! You should expect no less from one chosen to serve Lord Malleus! Now—go inside before I faint— I mean, before it grows colder.
You lingered a moment longer at the doorway, the kiss still warms upon your skin. As you stepped inside, you caught one last glimpse of him—marching off with all the dignity of a man trying very hard to believe he hadn’t just melted.
Under his breath, carried faintly by the night air, came the proud murmur, “Flawlessly executed, Sebek Zigvolt… a true knight’s kiss of commendation.”
Ello! may I please request some of the Lackadaisy characters reacting to a ridiculously tall male reader joining their crew?- like hit their head on every doorframe tall?/jk- but in all seriousness, maybe like 8ft or something?
okay im going for like 7ft or so because that SLIGHTLY more reasonable but not by much; idgaf tho this is funny. Also if you will please imagine this as a lanky ass oriental cat a la Pangur of pangur-and-grim fame. also featuring lots of bi cats, because I say so.

♣️Rocky - Oh!! That's a big one! He makes endless "how's the weather up there" jokes (some are so weird) and has lots of ... stories ("St. Louis' very own creature from the river bottoms, only arising when the fog is heaviest!"); it really brings him back to his circus barker days. The first time you picked him up he was momentarily stunned, also he may or may not have climbed up you like a kitten when something startled him. It only happened once, okay? He's also fond of swatting at your absurdly long tail, as in it distracts him mid-sentence and he just has to take a swipe. Look, this probably won't awaken anything in him.
♣️Freckle - First thought? Terrifying, even when you bonked your head pretty bad on the doorframe. Okay, well, you were a little less scary after the third time. He's used to being smaller than most men, but something about you just towering is nothing short of creepy, especially if you have a more tough or intense personality. If you're a kinder soul, Freckle relaxes much faster. When you both have to pile into the back of the car, he feels really awkward about how you have to contort and twist yourself. Jeez, that doesn't look comfortable ... and somehow it makes him feel a lot smaller, which he doesn't appreciate.
♣️Ivy - Omiiigossshhh, the girls at school are not gonna believe this. She beelines to you right away, delighted with the novelty she's discovered. Naturally she wants to dance, and she'd be so shocked and delighted if you were elegant in spite of your lankiness - that'll get her a crush right away. Don't worry, if you're more clumsy, you're still cute! She thinks everything you do is "cute", even if you have the face of a thug and the body of a furry noodle. Having to scoot into cars, towering over the bar when you sit on a stool, your shirt sleeves nearly going to your elbows? Cute! She'd love to buy you something real fancy that fit, she just knows you'd look sharp.
♣️Mitzi - Oh. Oh my. Not her usual taste, but with the right clothes and some pomade, well, you'd be a proper gentleman. Mitzi is already plotting to get you a nice suit made, and good naturedly notes you ought to eat more or the wind will knock you right over. She already feels small next to Atlus and Viktor, but that's doubled with you. Sometimes it makes her a little uncomfortable, but she knows you don't mean to cause the discomfort. If she got you a real nice suit and a gun, you'd be an excellent guard for when she's out and about ...
♣️Viktor - He tries to recall the last time he was this much shorter than someone ... When he was twelve, perhaps? He feels zero intimidation from you, though. Viktor's confident he could snap you in half if need be. Hm, if they got some muscle on you, you might be able to handle some serious firepower... He thinks on it. Oh, and now he isn't the only one having to dodge doorframes. If you're a less violent-inclined person, many times he's growled at you to stop being so slack-jawed and try to look scary, especially when you both are supposed to be guarding.
♣️Zib - Wow yeah okay this is awakening something in him for sure. The musician gets a little hot under the collar when you stand really close and he has to look up, or god forbid, you bend down to his eye level. He has no idea why he's feeling both aroused and terrified, and what that's supposed to mean. Once you said "good boy" as a joke and he nearly tripped and fell off the stage. He's this hopeless even when you're a dork; if you're actually a smooth operator, he's doomed.
♣️Atlas - Yeah, it's not hard to figure out how you stood out to him. You were offered a job, and though you're much lankier than a triggerman out to be, Atlas has plans. Just some fattening up, some practice with a gun and a well-made suit (your Christmas present, in fact), and you cut quite a shadowy figure. The suit is probably the finest one you own, and the only clothing that's fit in years. Mitzi helped choose the color.
🏵️Serafine - She's intrigued right away, which is no surprise. Most people notice you right away, and it's even better if you work for the Marigold gang and she gets to have plenty of time to flirt and bother and amuse you. Serafine is doubly entertained if you're a more clumsy or nervous sort. She loves calling you "le fantôme" or "le boogeyman", and very much admires when you use your height to frighten someone they're having a "talk" with. She has absolutely grabbed your long-ass tail to get your attention.
🏵️Nico - Listen. He's been with men before - not as much as women, mind you, and he's always preferred those who are smaller than him, which is most. But look. You're a tree, he's a squirrel. No shame, you're cute and he'll say it. He can probably pick you up just fine (which he's very proud of) and laughs if it embarrasses you. He's very interested in how you might fight, and has given you several tips on how to use your unusual size to your advantage when going hand-to-hand with someone.
🏵️Mordecai - Yes this is definitely awakening something and he doesnt want to think hard about it also why is EVERY damn person around him a tree -- You drive him up a wall for many reasons. You slouch all the time, your clothes never fit right, you don't carry a gun that would work best for your long fingers. The Savoys joke about you being Mordecai's "project" because he keeps fussing over you. Though they must say, it's a lot easier to get information out of their targets when they have Mordecai's signature glare and a terrifying cryptid looming over him.
⛰️Wick - Oops! All those feelings he's repressed since boarding school are coming out. Note you could be awkwardly trying to get through a doorway or climb out of a car, with clothes that don't fit quite right or trying to finesse a gun that's too small and he is just, totally enamored. If you have more of a scary demeanor - or you put on that act when you're working as Mitzi's bodyguard - then he's still enamored, just with a dash of fear. So. That's confusing.
