finished volume 1 of my throam reread last night and it pains me endlessly that this fic is a patd fic… i mean do you know how impressive it is to write a first person pov of a character that is so fundamentally flawed and unlikable but you can’t resist rooting for him to figure his life out anyways? he’s cruel and vile and not even a decent human being (as brendon says) but above all else, he is realistic. the final chapter of volume 1 shattered me and i know what’s ahead of me in volume 2 will not be any better. the protagonist is such a fucking asshole. and it’s bizarre how invested i am in his story.
