Yuuka settled down on the nearby bench in the gym and let out a loud exaggerated sigh before reaching into her bag at the side. It was then that she pulled out a brown paper bag of a few cinnamon rolls she had baked the day before. 

“Surely it’s time for a break, Ohira-san… I brought some food! Come! Share!”

hearing yuuka’s voice, reon yelled to semi to begin the cooldown without him before trotting over to yuuka. sweat rolled down his neck as he grabbed a white towel to dab at the beads. spotting the cinnamon roll, he rocked it from side to side before biting into it interestedly. “thank you, yuuka-san. Who made this cinnamon roll?”

do you ever crave romance so much? not in a sexual way but the holding hands and talking and showing affection through little things and hugging and going on little adventures together and maybe even kissing.

well, this was certainly new. reon wasn’t exactly sure why the small girl had bounced (literally) her way into the shiratorizawa gym, but he put down his extra-large bottle of sports drink to stand at his full height in front of her. running a hand over the back of his head, he purses his lips to consider the question she posed. “not exactly, although i’m sure it benefited me somehow.” he listens to the other question as he ponders the state of his towel, which is folded neatly in the hand unoccupied with his extra sweatpants. “i happen to think this haircut is nice. it’s also very practical, or so i’m told.”

reon glances over to the prince of the realm, who has suddenly appeared beside the baker’s apprentice. although he’s known the prince for a long time, the watchful eyes trained on his somewhat simple clothes remind the baker-sportsman that he must be careful with how he behaves. clasping his hands in front of him, careful to hide the newest burn, ohira raises his voice to a soft conversational tone. he doesn’t want to be too loud, as some might recognize his voice from behind the carefully crafted mask. “indeed, prince eita. perhaps it’s presumptuous, but i suppose a quiet night reading would be preferable for us both.”
