i think dimentio idolizes luigi or, "the man in green" really, just as much as he views him as a tool, inhuman. like finding a perfectly matching, delicately crafted frame for a portrait of yourself to span across the whole wall. you need it to praise yourself and your power, artistically depicted, but its only there to hold yourself up, really.

but god, no other frame would do it, would it? you just have to have it.
