you’ll blossom again when you’re ready.
push yourself to get up before the rest of the world - start with 7am, then 6am, then 5:30am. go to the nearest hill with a big coat and a scarf and watch the sun rise.
push yourself to fall asleep earlier - start with 11pm, then 10pm, then 9pm. wake up in the morning feeling re-energized and comfortable.
get into the habit of cooking yourself a beautiful breakfast. fry tomatoes and mushrooms in real butter and garlic, fry an egg, slice up a fresh avocado and squirt way too much lemon on it. sit and eat it and do nothing else.
stretch. start by reaching for the sky as hard as you can, then trying to touch your toes. roll your head. stretch your fingers. stretch everything.
buy a 1L water bottle. start with pushing yourself to drink the whole thing in a day, then try drinking it twice.
buy a beautiful diary and a beautiful black pen. write down everything you do, including dinner dates, appointments, assignments, coffees, what you need to do that day. no detail is too small.
strip your bed of your sheets and empty your underwear draw into the washing machine. put a massive scoop of scented fabric softener in there and wash. make your bed in full.
organise your room. fold all your clothes (and bag what you don’t want), clean your mirror, your laptop, vacuum the floor. light a beautiful candle.
have a luxurious shower with your favourite music playing. wash your hair, scrub your body, brush your teeth. lather your whole body in moisturiser, get familiar with the part between your toes, your inner thighs, the back of your neck.
push yourself to go for a walk. take your headphones, go to the beach and walk. smile at strangers walking the other way and be surprised how many smile back. bring your dog and observe the dog’s behaviour. realise you can learn from your dog.
message old friends with personal jokes. reminisce. suggest a catch up soon, even if you don’t follow through. push yourself to follow through.
think long and hard about what interests you. crime? sex? boarding school? long-forgotten romance etiquette? find a book about it and read it. there is a book about literally everything.
become the person you would ideally fall in love with. let cars merge into your lane when driving. pay double for parking tickets and leave a second one in the machine. stick your tongue out at babies. compliment people on their cute clothes. challenge yourself to not ridicule anyone for a whole day. then two. then a week. walk with a straight posture. look people in the eye. ask people about their story. talk to acquaintances so they become friends.
lie in the sunshine. daydream about the life you would lead if failure wasn’t a thing. open your eyes. take small steps to make it happen for you.
Why do I always end up eating nicecream on a cold day?🤔⠀ I actually also had an ice americano on the side so my body was ice cold when I went outside in the even colder weather🥶⠀ Not a good combination, would not recommend but at the same time would totally recommend😂🤷🏻♀️⠀ Put some spirulina in from @yanacph and some berry muesli on top🥣⠀
I don’t really have any excuse for why I don’t post as often as I used to, other than I have a life outside Instagram🤷🏻♀️⠀ I have school to attend, friends to meet, hobbies to enjoy, and those things are always my first priority, as they keep me happy☺️⠀ Not that my Instagram doesn’t bring me happiness, it used to be a big part of my life, but as time has passed I realized other things should be a part of my life and not just an Instagram📷⠀ That doesn’t mean that I won’t keep posting, but not as passionate as I used to before☺️⠀ Soy yogurt with berry muesli and mango🥣🍓⠀
This week has been so hectic! Every day I had to do something and at the end of the week I almost felt like a robot, not thinking just doing things🤖⠀ But this Sunday I finally got some time to clear things, both mentally and physically😌⠀ I got the house cleaned, got a good workout in, went to church, washed and sorted my clothed, cleaned my room and got my homework done👌🏻⠀ To some, it may not sound relaxing to do all those things, but I always feel better when everything is clean and neat🤷🏻♀️⠀ So, now I feel ready to go head on the next week, that is also filled with lots of things👊🏻⠀
The week has been so hectic so far with meetings, school, assignments, editing and so on😅⠀ When weeks like these come, I always make sure to tell myself: “Relax!"😌⠀ I realized that year, that if I keep on going in that pace, eventually I will break down. So, whenever I have time, I make sure to relax, think about other things or just take a walk to calm myself down☺️⠀ Taking care of your health, both mentally and physically, is so important!🤞🏻⠀ Your health is everything and should not be underestimated😳⠀ So, remember to take care of yourself, your body, and your mind❤️⠀
Well, hello there!🙋🏻♀️⠀ Long time, no see☺️⠀ If you’re wondering where I’ve been off to, I’ll simply explain; as some of you know I got stressed with work, school, and this account and had to take a break. ⠀ I’ve been focusing on my school, and also mainly on my mental and physical health, as they were my biggest priorities. As some of you know, I had a binge eating disorder and had to recover from that as well, before I felt like I could move on continuing life. ⠀ But now I finally feel like I’ll be able to start it all again in my own pace😌⠀ I’m so excited to be back, and can’t wait to get back into this lovely community❤️⠀
After relaxing for some days, trying to destress a bit and focus on reading and walking outside getting some fresh air, I finally feel relaxed and ready to start working again😌⠀ When I got my anxiety attack last week, I completely panicked because I didn’t know what was happening and there was no one to help me understand. ⠀ But now that I know what happened, and the reason why I feel much calmer and ready for if it happens again. ⠀ Today, I finally felt ready to take on the day and get some stuff done + start to take some pictures and edit again🙋🏻♀️⠀ Made some oat pancakes and topped them off with banana, raspberries, peanut butter, and coconut flakes🥞🍌🥜🥥⠀

I promised myself last year that I wouldn’t eat nicecream on a cold day and freeze to death on my way to school, which I did almost every day last fall/winter🤞🏻⠀ And yet, here I am again eating nicecream on a cold day😅⠀ I just can’t resist a cold bowl of nicecream🤤⠀ Topped my strawberry nicecream with more strawberries and granola🍓⠀
It’s a new month, and as I do every month, I like to set a challenge for myself🙋🏻♀️⠀ For this month, I’m doing the ‘How to live a good life’ challenge again☺️⠀ I did it some months ago, I think it was before Summer, and it really helped me with creating some good habits🙋🏻♀️⠀ But since Summer it has been hard for me to go back to these habits, so now I decided I will do it again, just to try and get back into them😉⠀ Couscous porridge with banana, blueberries and peanut butter🥣🍌🥜⠀

I’ve been trying to switch out as much coffee as possible for matcha tea🍵⠀ As much as I would like to completely drop the coffee, there’s also a big part of me that just loves a freshly ground cup of coffee😍☕️⠀ I have been so lucky to try @purechimp mint matcha tea and it’s so delicious!😋⠀ I’ve tried a couple matcha brands but this has got to be the best one!😍⠀ Plus, they donate 5% off their profits to charity, so another good reason to get your hands on one of their matchas😉⠀
