#pls #naruto is so funny unintentionally

No more shallow and 1 dimensional portrayals of Sasuke Uchiha!!! Give me sappy, romantic Sasuke who mused about “warm and fuzzy feelings” and said “I know your heart, and you mine.” Give me secretly insecure Sasuke who fought for his father’s approval and to be out of his brother’s shadow, who couldn’t cope with the sight of Naruto improving at a faster rate than him. Give me gentle Sasuke who simply could not bring himself to kill Naruto despite being given multiple opportunities. The beauty of his character often lies in his complexity I think. Cool-headed pretty boy is just the tip of the iceberg.

naruto saying this to sasuke even AFTER everything he went through for sasuke's sake during this arc makes me so emotional like despite learning that sasuke had joined the akatsuki, letting karui beat him up in place of sasuke, bowing down to the raikage to spare sasuke's life and learning that sasuke had attacked the 5 kage summit and was planning to attack konoha, naruto was STILL grateful that he met sasuke and still considered him one of his most important people. and i feel like that is one of the main reasons sasuke too couldnt fully cut off his ties to naruto
