The blonde continued what she was doing as she shrugged her shoulders at the girl’s question, “I don’t know who you are so I don’t know. No need to take the fact that you’re not capable of focusing out on anyone else though.” Arching up on her tip toes, Kensie would grab the book she needed from the top shelf, “Apparently Professor Bastedo thinks so.”

She scoffed at her. “Unfortunately, I’m easily distracted.” Natali’s lips turned into a slight scowl. “That definitely sucks.” She sighed, stressed out for the girl. “I mean,” she drawled. “I feel like books only is sort of unfair. The internet is just so,” she waved her hand in the air, looking for the correct word. “Comprehensive. It’s amazing that professor’s won’t just, embrace the future.”

Lucky fell silently into the chair opposite; one of the few empty in the crowded library. He’d had no intention of even acknowledging the other when he sat, pulling his own laptop from his bag and placing it gingerly on the table. He’d needed somewhere quiet to focus on his latest piece. As she spoke Lucky glanced up from the screen and rolled his eyes, half tempted to not even dignify her with a response. “Obviously not.” He answered plainly, his voice dripping with sarcasm. “Any more pointless questions? Or are you done wasting my time?”

Nat watched silently as he set his laptop on the table, her table. She let out a soft chuckle at his response. “Feisty.” She commented, looking at Lucky with a challenging gaze. “One more pointless question,” she started resting her chin on her hand. “What’s your name?” Natali asked sweetly.

Jocelyn hadn’t expected the reaction when she’d sat at the table, but immediately stood up. “Sorry,” she said quickly, grabbing her bag up and preparing to walk away.

Natali bit her lip in embarrassed by the way she acted. It was unbecoming of a vp, especially a sorority vp. “Sorry,” she grumbled. “It’s just, do you ever get so stressed you just get...crabby?” She spoke giving her a small smile.

“Look, unless you’ve got something actually interesting to talk about, I’m not interested in what you have to say.” Jasmine said, looking over to the person who was heading in her direction. She wasn’t entirely sure if the person had even planned on talking to her, but Jasmine was bored and wanted to get into some trouble.

“Well, aren’t you just the little anti-social?” Natali stopped right next to the girl. “What’s with that icy demeanor?” She wondered aloud, actually impressed that someone could be so aggressive. “Let me guess, out of the ‘three s’s’ of college, you chose sleep and study?”

Kensie was in the midst of gathering materials that she needed for a paper that would be handed in to the old, grouchy professor that resembled Ben Stein. Only she was a female. She’d always assigned the most ridiculous research projects and, just to make everyone’s life harder, she didn’t allow them to use the internet. So it was good old books. Now Kensie was grabbing one that she needed from a nearby shelf. “I’m not going to sit anywhere near you, I’m just looking for what I need” she explained. “But, hey, if you want to be that antisocial, maybe go use your laptop in your room?”

Natali looked up and gave the girl a fake smile. “Oh gee,” she said sarcastically, “I guess that’s the point of a laptop!” Natali eyed the girl and returned to her typing. “Do you think if I could use my laptop in my room i’d be here?” The blonde scoffed. “There’s too many distractions and my paper is due tomorrow. But even the library has it’s distractions.” She looked at her again staring at the materials in her hand. “What year is it? 1980?” She chided resting her chin on her hand while waiting for a reaction.

Natali’s fingers moved quickly over her keyboard as she worked on her essay. Her teeth bit into her lip as she concentrated. Nat’s nerves were fried, she had procrastinated again. She felt a pair of eyes on her and she glanced up quickly. “Isn’t there anywhere else you could sit?” She muttered, barely paying any attention to the person in front of her.
