I’m envious—I’ve been good. Working—still breathing—good things and all. ” There’s a moment of AWKWARDNESS over his own words, head dipping suddenly as he wishes he could quite literally disappear. “ I—uh—we have a discount going on most of this today. Two for one kinda thing. ” It’s much easier for the already flustered Kinam to talk about food than himself as he’s punching numbers quickly into the register with eyes averted from the beauty.

( • • • ) There’s nearly an e y e r o l l made at the overly dramatic reaction of the other male--but Kinam holds off and simply gives his head a shake. “ What do I even WEAR to something like this? ” It’s another whine as he’s moving to tug his closet open, mismatched eyes already scanning the contents to find something remotely suitable for the excursion.

just a heads up that my activity is going to be even slower than usual over the next five weeks. i’m currently trying to fit an entire semester of classes into 5 weeks so i’m pulling my hair out between school and work. i’ll do my best to get a reply out here and there so nobody is waiting too terribly long.

“I wanted to be a fireman when I was little.” There’s a soft laugh as he recalls the days of pulling around his grandmother’s garden hose to put out fake fires and save lives. “–guess things change when you get older though. I try to avoid d a n g e r now.”

( • • • ) It was immediate that Kinam tensed, shoulders tightening and throat beginning to feel as if he needed to find a bottle of water as soon as possible. The awkward question made him SQUIRM and the long pause that came before his answer didn’t help. “--I don’t know. I haven’t really been kissed by a n y o n e other than my mom or grandma.” Another pause. Another few seconds of his cheeks reddening. “--guess the lips are a safe bet.”

The next question as easier, one that made a little smile quickly replaced the tight lipped grimace that was once in it’s place. “COOKING. If I ever decide to go to school--it’ll be for cooking.”
