This is coming from me noticing the muse’s habits, but not all threads/asks may leave into full-on sex and she may dip out. 

Pure “smut” content will not be common here. Sexual encounters of any kind, as a writer, are wonderful points of entry to explore character challenges, dynamics, depths, and growth. Intimacy and vulnerability are interesting avenues of exploration for Sophie’s character that I enjoy writing about. I have my preferences.

Pre-established relationships (and/or developed connections) really, really help in writing NSFW with this character. But, it isn’t that required if we have a strong plot/idea.

IC writing on this blog may or may not contribute to any relationship development or verse development. This means that yes, there can be one-shots/non-canon situations/alt routes explored here. I leave this decision to made between us muns talking.

Now, for something a bit different but interesting. 

DREAMS

What exactly is this? An opportunity where your character can get deep exploration about their relationship/feelings/problems/desires/anything about or towards Sophie. But, it can also be very revealing about your character in terms of implications and larger ideas that can be explored. ( I.E., Sophie herself isn’t the main focus but symbolic of something else for your character. )

What inspired this? This an idea I was really interested that I wanted to revisit. Short version: Based on experimental thread I did years ago. Essentially, it was a character (X) who fell asleep and dreamt of my character (Y). X confronted the dream!Y and unraveled and discovered things about them that they were both comforted and confused by. 

Why do this? I generally like writing dream sequences and getting into the deeper recesses of a character’s mind/psyche. Dreams, in real life and in literature, reveal so much about someone and can help (or hinder) them navigating through things they’re stressed about or have yet to confront.  Also, I do like portraying variants of Sophie, even if it’s a figment of someone’s imagination. I find it incredibly interesting to hear how a character sees Sophie/believes what she is like, and I would reflect that version of her to fit that character’s mind and/or unconscious.

How does this work? Through some plotting, we start a thread where your character is dreaming and it has happens to be about Sophie or she just happens to be there. The driving force of the thread will be your character.

How can I get in on this? Just ask! My main blog rules and this blog rules still apply. Plotting needed (just to get an idea). Pre-estab/direct connections helps. Etc. 

This isn’t a situation where the real Sophie would be in the dream. This variation of Sophie is created by your character through their dreams. Her portrayal can/is influenced by how they see her. Give me insight and I will work with you. 

Not all dreams are happy and satisfying. This can turn into a nightmare or night terror. It can get sexual, it can get remorseful! Everyone can wake up before they finish their dream or they’re interrupted. Lots of things can happen! LET’S HAVE FUN WITH IT.
