Now, because tumblr is ridiculous ( as we’ve seen from this latest update… ) there were a few people who were supposed to be on there but were deleted from the final post when tumblr published a previous version instead of the current one. @consumexdevour – Sometimes, you need to have played the game or read the book to really get a character. Sometimes. Other times, you find blogs like Pandy’s Cousland right here, and you can fall in love no matter what. That’s a wonderful feeling, honestly. I love seeing Xander on my dash, and Pandy is an absolute sweetheart, too. I highly recommend this blog for all your Cousland needs, tbh – and all your awesome mun / muse combo needs, too.
@vintyvanora – I always get a little happy shiver when I come across excellent OCs, and Vanora is decidedly one of those blogs. I am so here for powerful female characters who know what they want and work to get it, too, as there can never be enough of them in any community. The writing here is absolutely perfect, too, and I love how Vanora springs to life in every post. There’s always such a depth to her, and I admire that so much. And that’s all not even mentioning that the mun is darling besides.
@oholyvile – Another fantastic character, sprung, beautifully formed, from their creator’s mind. I have such an admiration for OCs who not only stand out as excellent characters but who also manage to be completely unique, and who are fascinating because of that. Aurelio absolutely manages that. Knoxville manages to put color and life into parts of the lore that are usually left blank or ignored with gorgeous writing and a creative muse, and that is such an impressive thing.
@miinstrel – A sweetheart and a brilliant Maryden Halewell. I’m guilty of having sat in the tavern in Skyhold just to listen to Maryden’s many songs, and so I was absolutely delighted when I found someone who was bringing her to life just as vibrantly as I had imagined her from the few interactions she had with my Quizzies. Definitely a follow if you enjoy music, witty posts, and everyone’s favorite minstrel ( and who doesn’t? ). My dash wouldn’t be complete without them.
@cxvenant – Pirates! Ever since my middle school crush on literally everyone in the Pirates of the Caribbean series, I’ve loved pirates. Probably before, even. So having an awesome pirate OC like Thaddeus on my dash is a delightful ray of sunshine ocean breeze, tbh. Also, Nevarrans! I am so here for Nevarrans. Vicious’ writing is really lovely to boot, and while we haven’t chatted yet, I have it on good authority that they’re genuinely one of the sweetest people you could hope to meet.
@emmailen – The awesomeness of Alex’s blog pretty much hits you the moment it loads. Again, I’ve only played Inquisition, but I don’t need to know Origins to recognize a badass Surana blog when I see one. Emmailen is a beautiful, fleshed-out character – and have I mentioned lately how much I love lady muses?? And also people who are canon divergent, to any degree?? – and Alex does a fantastic job bringing her muse to life, even in just a few words. This blog is definitely on my go-follow list.
@solasenbanel – And last, but absolutely not least, everyone’s favorite wolf-egg-god-tea drinking apostate-whatever he is at the moment. Solas is a complicated character and a challenge to play – or would be for me, at least! – but Nemo does a beautiful job of him. His mannerisms, his voice, his history, his hopes, his fears – all of that and more is apparent in her writing. From the headcanons to the memes to the threads on this blog, everything is honestly gold.
