Undocumented Change (As far as I am aware)
Using the default sickle while harvesting finally has its own unique animation! Previously, it was the same interaction used across many purposes; such as reviving your fallen companions by kneeling and rubbing the ground (just with the sickle in hand). Now we have a full swipe with the sickle in hand!!
I know it's a tiny thing but seeing that made me so giddy!!
Finally made an elementalist, so here's a sketch. Her name is Conduit Fornonsense and she kinda looks like a coral :3
Alba knows where the missile is at all times. He knows this because he knows where it isn't.

Returning to Tyria (Again!)
So, it's been a while since I last played Guild Wars 2, and I started feeling the itch to start playing again and jumping back into Nameless Higanbana's story, so I thought I'd start by doing some fanart! I was going to draw Nameless in the forests of Caledon, but seeing as the last time I played, she was journeying into the heart of Orr, I thought I'd draw her there instead!
As a bit of a Recap, Nameless Higanbana, Revenant of the Sylvari Grove, set out in her journey across Tyria, aiding the less fortunate folks of the realm and piecing together her purpose. Joining the Order of Whispers under Tybalt Leftpaw, she rooted out the dark secrets plaguing the human city of Divinity's reach, upending the political machinations of the Beetlestone Patriarch. She and Tybalt grew close, becoming akin to siblings. However, shortly after achieving the rank of Lightbringer, she was involved in the invasion of Claw Island, losing Tybalt to the undead minions of the dragon, Zhaitan.
Teaming up with other members of the Order, as well as the Sylvari firstborn Trahearne, Nameless was instrumental in bringing together the disparate peoples across the three orders of Tyria, leading to the formation of The Pact. Together, the joint Orders of Tyria banded together and forged deep into the heart of Orr, seat of power of the undead, hoping to free the land of the threat of the dragon Zhaitan... @guildwars2
I have this idea where Smith here is a living mechanical horror, who's cursed to live forever because some kind of magical intervention (thanks Mr.G), and until that is undone, anytime he "dies", his body will reassemble himself, starting off initially as a miniaturized version of himself.
What this means is that he essentially respawns with the mini tonic debuff as a punishment whenever he dies to I dunno, a Dolyak or something. You can imagine he probably has been ground to dust many, many times prior.
Watching over Castora.

My part off the #VSArtParty it was very fun, you guys have such lovely characters!
Couldn't get all ur tags on here so if you find ur chara, ill add you to this post.
My idea for how to handle the character of The Commander if there's ever a guild wars 3:
-across tyria there are wildly conflicting accounts of the commander’s deeds and who they were
-these varying accounts line up with different personal story choices in gw2
-different species and factions claim the commander was one of their own
-there have been literal wars over who gets to claim the pact commander
-cue Trahearne Junior's speech about the history of the Guild Wars... 2!
-eventually you get a post-story end game quest where you find a lead on some actual documented, uncontested history of the commander
-it's long as fuck and extremely difficult and expensive
-the quest leads you to an elderly, ancient, snargle goldclaw
-the last living person to have personally known the commander
-he rambles on about his life and novels for a literal eternity
-only after you sit and listen through ALL his life stories including a bunch of different hidden dialogue branches do you unlock the option to ask about the pact commander
-he confirms that canonically, the Official Canon Pact Commander... "was the bravest choya i ever knew"
-he then immediately dies peacefully of old age
grove and siren's landing era lull as an excuse to play with some new brushes
i didn't even personally like that soo-won is the mother of the other elder dragons but i have to admit that there's this curiously recurring throughline in guild wars 2 storylines that's like, the burden mothers cause for their children even if they're not ill-intentioned or 'bad' people. glint has a clutch of eggs with the intent of replacing the elder dragons that preceded her, and then dies; both of her in-plot children are crushed by the weight of the destiny they were made for. the pale tree has her children born with a life's calling to fulfill. they really kick this up to a hysterical notch with the icebrood saga preceding soo-won's appearance, and if this is the direction it must go, i REALLY like that they chose to make that the story that funnels into that ending, from the initial conceptual standpoint anyway. eir wanted to continue to carve out her own legend in a way that did not involve raising a child - her and the father of her child mutually happily agreed that the father would raise the son, braham eirsson -- in norn culture, your parent's name is explicitly a part of yours. there's a charr named ryland steelcatcher, son of rytlock brimstone and crecia stoneglow, and no aspect of their names goes to his last name -- his last name pertains to his own actions. there is a legacy and familial tie that rests over both these characters. there are two dragons with a familial tie to each other that the dragons want to destroy. they are the children of a mother that at that point we are yet to see..

never played guild wars 1 but kuunavang was one of the most interesting characters in EoD to me. a dragon that takes on human form so as to help humans without causing any alarm but clearly loves the experience a little bit and notes that ishan would always say she spent ‘too much time’ in that form and she has her favorite little restaurants and everything and she takes you to one. also sorry to be the guy that loves comparing lines but i always thought the thing she said about soo-won was so stark considering what ankka had been saying about mortals being nothing at all to the stars and the gods and the dragons
I tried to make Rytlock in Tomodachi Life: Living the Dream , based off his funkopop!
