Hello friend, and welcome! I’m Millie. (she/they, 25 years old)
On this blog I write x reader stuff, mostly for a bunch of characters that I have some attachment to or want to study under a microscope, as one does. All of my writing on here tends to skew towards horror or fit the yandere trope, so keep that in mind and pay attention to the content warnings while exploring.
[Also, all the art you see for the stuff regarding my ocs is made by Vikzo101 :D]
How consistent I am at posting heavily depends on my irl availability and my fixations, but I tend to come back to write here from time to time.
Feel free to stick around, requests are open!

imagine a real cowboy/cowgirl(/idk the nonbinary term for it im sorry) falls to the underground after clover (idk they could be a family member or neighbor of clover lol idc I just want someone from the surface to be concerned for clover's disappearanse) and Starlo meets them and hes sosoo excited to show em around but the cowthem just wants to find their kid an neither Starlo nor the gang knows how to tell them the kid is fucking DEAD now LMAOO
Ohh Starlo request, fun fun! Also, I feel like I need to personally thank you for adding 'cowthem' to my vocabulary lmaoo I think that cowpoke is the closest thing to a gender neutral cowboy term haha
This takes the tone of the reader being related to Clover, in an older family member way. Perhaps an older sibling, parent, aunt/uncle; your choice.
Warnings: yandere character; mentions of death; imprisonment;
Well, this is awkward, huh. And here Starlo thought he could have a break.
He was both excited and wary of your appearance in the Underground. After all, Clover left such an impact down here, and a new human showing up while the wound is still so fresh is bound to feel...Dividing.
It was clear you came on a mission, however. You wasted no time in trekking through the Underground, always pinpointed in your search for Clover. Never discouraged even with every monster you come across seemingly knowing exactly who they are but having no idea where they went, always with a certain wistfulness in their tone, and a 'Oh, there's two of them now?' reaction.
Starlo would be lying if he said he wasn't starstruck when he first saw you. You look and act strikingly similar to those humans he spent years idolising and mimicking, even more than Clover themselves. To the point he thought you had indeed walked right out of one of his old western movies he holds so dear.
But a human. Right now. Right after...Everything that happened?
And you- Oh, why, why, why did it have to be one that reminded him of Clover so?
His fascination still spoke louder, though, and he just had to welcome you to his town. Even with the rest of the gang, along with Ceroba from the sidelines, bordering on being horrified at your resemblance to Clover.
Unfortunately for him, however, he can't ignore how much you do remind him of them. Aside from the obvious resemblance, it's also the strong resilience to try to do what's right, the stubbornness, the kindness, the whole getup even. You're not them, obviously, he doesn't see you as such, but...His heart is still soft.
He refuses to tell you what happened to the kid. He talks of them like they're a hero, like he was their mentor and that he was so endlessly proud of them. All truths on those parts, to be fair, but he just can't seem to tell you where they went. Clover is very adamant about their goal, once they got their mind set on something, it's hard to stop them! Surely, you know this too? Then, you don't have to worry, right? They...Did their best, he vaguely tries to reassure you.
He also tries to keep the others at an arm's length from you. Refusing to let them near you long enough for any of them to have a moment to tell or even just hint of what happened, monopolising almost all of your time. He'll pull them aside too, confronting them with a strange coldness in his tone while telling them that it'd be cruel to let you know. If it felt awful for them, can't they imagine how it'll feel for you?
But can't he imagine how cruel it is what he's doing to you?
Nevermind the fights he starts to have with Ceroba, someone who's by now unfortunately familiar with the pain of losing a child and who would be the better person to help you.
Instead, he keeps pulling you along with him, hoping that he can keep you distracted and entertained enough for you to want to stick around. He...Wants you to stick around. So, so much.
But he knows what he has to do.
You have to know the truth, eventually, both about what happened to Clover and, well. What has to happen to you in return.
But he doesn't want to.
Is it selfish? Does he care? He already lost a friend, so recently and so cruelly, on top of everything else that happened. It was for the better, for the future of the Underground, sure. But he still lost a friend.
You don't have to suffer the same fate, right? Clover, ultimately, chose theirs. For as much as he and the others wished for a different way, it was their choice. But you don't have to know. You don't have to make that same choice.
So what if more human souls are necessary to break the barrier, so what if it's for the better? Other humans will surely fall down after you, he can't have you be the next one for the slaughter, whether you'd walk into it willingly or not.
He couldn't protect Clover, but now he'll protect you.
Devlog Nº2 - some more design stuff and functional UI/menus
With the end of the month arriving, we have some more things to show! We've done a lot of progress and are almost finished with all of the visual and functional part of the ui and menus.
Menus are the least fun part, especially if you want to completely change how they look from the default renpy and are learning how to do it as you go.
Basically rearranging renpy's default organs until it looks the way we want and hopefully not break something along the way.
We've been abusing the hell out of using images as buttons, and where we couldn't figure out how, we went around by making a custom font to replace any text buttons to match the drawn ui. Making a custom font you can type with and renpy would read the file of was another riddle to solve, but we liked how it turned out.
The gallery is (almost) fully functional now and basically on hold waiting for the cgs and endings that will be unlockable, with the characters' profile descriptions also gradually unlocking as you go through their routes.
(These two will still have some more revisions on how they look.)
Now that we have the style and ui as we wanted and have the base for the gallery to be functional, we're getting back to the script coding again!
Before we started posting on here, we already did have the routes fully planned and with one of them have a full finished script, now it's a case of getting started writing the interactable dialogue and choices.
The start of next month is for finishing the prologue and first parts of the routes, and to also work on more sprites and backgrounds to go with the script.
♦️ To start with the first devlog we decided to show off some progress we made on the menus, ui and just the visual identity of the game.
Since the game revolves around deciding to, well, doing some terrible things with your new totally stable friends, there's 3 main visuals we ended up going with: crime scene imagery, harsh silhouettes and broken glass.
We messed a lot with the colors since the start . We also messed around to remove and change things about the quick menu that is usually glued to the dialog box in renpy.
Each character also as their own slightly different dialog box personalized to them.
For the main menu, we had a vision of what we wanted (as seen on the previous two images), but it took some tries to get something we were content with.
Tbh, the hardest part was figuring out how to replace all of renpy's default buttons with functioning image buttons. Once that became a case of repeating the same and now familiar process, we wanted to overall the look of the ui instead of sticking to the default of renpy.
Including the preferences menu. The save and load pages are completely different beast, as we are trying to change how they work mechanically, so that'll be for another post when we're more confident we got the effect we want.
And ofc, a gallery as well! Or the start of one, at least.
Ah, the beauty of a concept you throw together in photoshop being turned into an almost functional menu. We're still working on the endings screen and proper cg gallery page, so we'll later on show as the entire gallery menu comes together.
That's it for now, we'll see you for the next devlog once we have more things we want to show you! :)
A horror visual novel where you might be doing some horrible things with some equally horrible new friends.
♦️ After a long time of almost no contact and very questionable decisions, your closest friend invites you back to the town you both grew up in, where they instead stand you up. Unfortunately for them, this was your last straw. And unfortunately for you, you have 3 new friends from your old college who're all very eager to help you make the worst choices possible.
Hi! We're a two person developing team working on our first game.
We made this blog to post about the progress we make, for anyone that might be interested. So if you are, stick around, as we'll be sharing the development as we go along!
It might be my Marble Hornets and web horror obsession talking but,,, Mushroom Oasis with the tone of found footage.
Wandering late at night into the woods with only the light of your phone as a guide, recording your surroundings as you go along. The reason why you were even filming? You had something to prove.
Sometimes, more times than you'd like to count, you could swear you saw something wandering through the treeline. Something strange, something almost human.
However, the woods isn't a place you go into unprepared, it cares little for where you're going and what you intend to do. And before you knew it, you took a wrong turn, wrong enough for you to completely lose sense of where you had even come from.
And you could try to turn back, you could, but how would you even know if you're going the right way? If you somehow did, it would be such a long way back with nothing to show for it, and if you didn't...What would you find if you just kept going? Kept wandering into the seemingly endless darkness ahead?
Because unbeknownst to you, you had already been found.
You are loud, clumsy and lost. But he knows the woods like the back of his hand, for something -someone- that size, he’s so silent.
You stop on your tracks, a sudden quietness settling onto the clearing you had stumbled upon. The kind of silent warning that indicates something bigger is stalking around the area. Usually a predator animal. But you didn't come here looking for an animal, did you?
Pointing your light source around in a frantic search for anything that could be in here with you, you miss multiple times the glow of a pair of eyes transfixed on you.
He had seen you before. So, so many times. At first by accident, when he himself wandered, but onto civilization instead of deeper into the woods. You two have been in a sort of hide and seek game ever since, with him getting more bold and you getting more curious. He had hoped that this back and forth could lead to a friendship. You seemed so nice and he felt so lonely. Surely if you came this far to meet him, it means you two could be friends, right?
But he curses himself for not fully giving into that hope.
You finally catch it, the four glowing dots in the middle of the pitch dark, and you freeze like a deer in headlights. So does he, although more briefly. You're pointing your still recording phone camera directly at him.
In the dim light of your device, he looked terrifying hiding in the brush of the forest, half way obscured by the unknown. His expression read between nervous and excited.
What are you even looking at? That’s not a person, too tall with too many extra appendages, despite the humanoid shape.
He takes a step forward and the camera shakes in your hands.
"It's okay...I'm not going to hurt you."
Your reaction was immediate, he could tell you were about to bolt as you scream and the panic takes over, but he's faster.
He's on you with a speed you barely have time to process. Your phone falls on the ground, forgotten in your struggle against him. You don't get very far before he forces your eyes to lock with his.
An unnatural wave of calmness washes over you as you stare into the creature's eyes. As if everything that had ever upset you just effortlessly slid out of your mind. His grip on you tightens. The air feels like static.
The last sighting of you before your disappearance that blurred recording of how you met your new friend.
Might have mentions of stalking, obsessive behavior, possessiveness, insinuation of addiction, unhealthy dependency, toxic dynamic, yandere themes, Murder, etc.
If you're uncomfortable with anything listed above, then I advise not to read further. If you wish to continue know that you've been warned.

ENA Series
She didn't comprehend how this happened. Her world being in jeopardy of its own was strange when the heavenly realm opened its gates. It was a gamble she didn't know she bet in but the reward was richening.
—
Her body was buzzing with desire, a delicacy she yearned for. What a wonder. When she looked away, her mind didn't make sense, but when she looked at the cherub, the glitches and static lessened. As if the air was a comfort.
Security. That's what it felt like. A security no limb showed but the Cherub's hand did. The warmth it radiated, she yearned for it. But, she hated when that warmth was shared.
When she entered the carousel it was steady, as steady as it can on a rocky road. With each tamper, she dreaded the upcoming. She didn't like the rocky road. It palpated indiscreetly that her unregistered heart panicked.
Haywire, the cherub made it go away. So her hand wanted it to stay. The plate of happiness was discreet; it wasn't begging out loud; it preferred the mines. But on the opposing plate, it cried out, it didn't want its tone under the veil. It wanted it to be known, to be seen.
The whole, broken but unwavering, begs the sun to stay. So the winds would stop howling and the rain would not drown her.
With a heart above the veil, with her damned soul on display, she'll ask for an opportunity. If you'll take her heart.

Hiii recently read your two Syakesan yandere posts where he keeps the reader caged and my evil mind wonders about a Red Wadda kind of outcome where the reader falls for him and the two date...? If you're okay with writing it ofc! <3
Ohh, how fun! Bastard to bastard communication is always entertaining.
Since you mentioned red Wada, this is written more from the perspective of the red sea corrupting you than you just having feelings for him from the get go, but I could definitely write that other variation later on :D
Warnings: yandere character; mentions of violence; imprisonment; mentions of death; yandere-ish/violent reader;
This is it. This is what Sal had been waiting for since the start.
He knew you'd come around eventually.
Well, if that's how he wants to phrase it. Afterall, there's only two fates for the ones caught in the Red Sea. You either relent or...
He was right about one thing, though. There is only some much one can take before they start cracking.
And in a rather cruel twist of fate, your feelings towards him corrupted alongside you.
A certain obsession towards him started to form, remnants of good memories mixing with that unrelenting feeling of distrust in the back of your mind. And the betrayal. He was the only thing left of all that you once knew. He doesn't want to leave you alone? Well, who said you ever wanted him to?
The first thing you did was get unspeakably violent towards him. And what fun! Sal would never be one to refuse an expression of your feelings! Even when you started to threaten to kill him if he even thinks of leaving, he could barely contain his excitement.
So you two became inseparable. More than you had already involuntarily been forced by him beforehand, either way. He doesn't even need to keep you caged anymore, isn't that a wonderful development?
You're attached, that's for sure, and he already had been for a long time. As a result he's even more cheerful than before, something the other Red Sea inhabitants thought impossible; and he’s constantly acting as if he's on cloud nine. He’s happier than he’s ever been! He says while still bleeding heavily from multiple gashes on his stomach. Well, at least the torture towards you has significantly decreased, with the roles having almost completely switched in that regard, funnily enough.
Unless he even slightly suspects that you're getting close with someone else, of course, Sal still gets incredibly jealous and never stopped letting others be on the receiving end of that problem. But the same can be said for you, so this might as well be a match made in heaven. Or hell. Most likely hell.
You're cruel, but no more than he has been, brought by your new home and your dear "lover". Oh, how you love him. And how you love to ruin his life.
Perhaps this could be considered happiness, or at least the closest thing you got to it while living in the Sea of Death.
could you maybe do something with yandere Yukisada? from Ice Scream
Of course, always happy to write something for Ice Scream! And I love Yukisada, wish there was more content of him out there.
Warnings: yandere character; vague descriptions of injuries; stalkerish behaviour;
You could feel the cold biting at your face, your eyes refusing to look away from the direction you've been fixating on for the past while.
Sure, just like everyone else on this isle, you're built for the cold. But that still doesn't make just standing there taking the sharp wind to the face any brighter of an idea. You were seemingly glued to your spot, despite that. Hands clenched at your side, debating if you'd let the anger dictate your next step.
However, you don't have much more time to decide before a familiar voice cuts through your thoughts, calling your name. Your head snaps to the direction of the sound, the expression on your face quickly going from angry to confused, only to finally land on annoyance. It's him again.
"Don't you have anything better to do, doctor?" You spat at him before he even had the time to get another word in. "Haven't you been following me around for long enough?"
The snow owl doesn't respond immediately, keeping himself in the air just behind you. He doesn't usually go around in this form, most of you here don't, but you've come to become very familiar with it. It's easier to keep track of you when he can fly, after all.
He finally speaks up, voice soft and cautious.
"I'm just...Looking out for you, that's all." It's what he settles on. You roll your eyes, before moving your attention back to where you were looking before.
You're going to kill that orca.
As if reading your mind, he gently lands on your shoulder with a surprising lack of hesitation, given your mood. You briefly consider pushing him away, but an owl is still heavy enough of a bird with sharp enough claws for you to stop yourself. He wouldn't hurt you on purpose, of course he wouldn't, but it has accidentally happened before.
And you don't want to give him yet another excuse to have you bed ridden in his clinic. Not again.
"You should leave him alone..." His tone is calm and levelled, a hint of concern present. You can feel his effort to not cling to your shoulder too hard, once again the reassurance that he never does it on purpose. He's comfortable around you. Too comfortable.
The warmth he provides almost snaps you out of it. "He's not worth your time, and you'll only get hurt again." He always has a way to sound just so reasonable.
Your eyes wander to look at your left leg, still warped in bandages and freshly out of a splint you've had to wear for the past weeks. The limp still hasn't left you. It wasn't the only damage you endured from that encounter, but it's definitely the worst one.
You know it's a bad idea. He already nearly killed you once, what's stopping him from finishing the job this time? There's a reason why everyone stays away from the orca zone. You just wished he didn't act like he owns the damn place.
"And let him just...Stay there? No consequences?" You already knew the answer to this question before you even asked. "He also hurt Shirogane." You also never forget to add.
That comment always seems like a sure fire way of, quite literally, ruffling his feathers. "Nothing good comes from looking for trouble." You feel his weight leave your shoulder and hear the flap of wings again.
This time, a hand takes a hold of yours, a humanoid figure now standing next to you. When you look back at him you find he has that usual sugary sweet smile plastered on his face. Sometimes it borders on making you feel nauseous.
The rest of the conversation became a mostly one-sided blur, at some point you just kinda let him slowly guide you back to his house. You imagine what he had been saying while you basically disassociated couldn't be much different from the usual reassurances, catching you up on what he's been doing and musing about if Shirogane was already back home. At some point he promises to make you some hot chocolate when you two finally arrive.
You make it out of the cold and into his house, through the area designated to be his clinic (though not without a shiver crawling up your spine), and into his living quarters.
The sight that greets you both as you finally reach the warmth of the living room doesn't really come as a surprise. What might as well be your other roommate, Yukisada's "patient zero", the miserable man crying his eyes out sitting at the table. What he's muttering under his breath is a not uncommon string of self-berating curses.
You sigh, but Yukisada is quick to join the wolf by his side, the usual scene of him worriedly asking what had happened. It might as well be clockwork, the way it all goes so predictably.
You barely pay attention to what Shirogane was crying about this time, having learnt to tune it out long ago. You do feel bad for him to a certain point, yes. But, unlike Yukisada, you're not blessed with the same amount of patience comparable to that of a saint.
"I'm glad you stayed home this time, however. You'll feel better with the right company in no time, Shiro." His voice catches your attention again. He looks over at you, motioning for you to join them at the table. "Right?"
You hesitate briefly before nodding, the warmth and comfort of this place making you suddenly very aware of your exhaustion, a heaviness settling in you. You had been out for way longer than you should, now that you think about it, considering you're still recovering.
Despite everything, Yukisada is still a doctor. Your doctor.
In no time, the three of you are holding mugs full of hot chocolate, listening to the soothing voice of your best friend, as Shirogane finally begins to settle down and your previously felt heaviness starts to take a toll on you. It's almost funny. Everytime you leave this house, you swear you're not setting foot in here again. That you're putting some distance between you and Yukisada. But then.
But then he comes back for you. With soft words and offering a kind of comfort that no one else will ever be willing to give you. With him, the world outside doesn't feel real. And when it does, you're in the cold, either bleeding or getting into conflicts with the other residents.
You swear you want your life back, your independence, to leave this place and even this isle.
But then you always find yourself back here, warm and safe. And the hot chocolate never fails to make you sleepier and before you know it Yukisada is fussing over you, you're still recovering after all! From...The orca attack? Or...
Well, does it matter? Isn't it better here?
He's got you back where he wants you and he has the never ending patience to do this game of push and pull for what might as well be eternity.
He calls you by a nickname he uses just for you. "So, you're not leaving so soon again, are you? You need some well deserved rest."
"Come on, let's get you back to your bed at the clinic, right where you need to be."
Since you you mentioned the dynamic between yan osomatsu and Choromatsu im Very curious how would that work out
Ohh boy, me and the bestie when we're absolutely insufferable!
Warnings: yandere characters; violence; stalking;
If individually they would already be the biggest pain in your ass, when they somehow managed to join forces it became what might as well be hell on earth for you.
Well, as per usual with the Matsuno brothers, it's less of a joint effort and more of a truce. And Osomatsu was the one who started it, of course he was.
Because it's just so funny.
Sure, he's a clingy prick. But he also doesn't see Choromatsu as a threat. At all.
In fact, this might just work out for him! Choromatsu is such a loser that it makes Oso look like the better option by default! All he needs to do is point out those obvious flaws to you and the game is as good as won.
Besides! Having an extra pair of eyes to make sure you're not going too far or associating with people who you shouldn't doesn't hurt. He has noticed that his brother is quite the stalker, after all! And wouldn't it be hilarious if you found out about that too?
Unbeknownst to him however, is that Choromatsu has a very similar plan.
Surely he looks like the way better choice when compared to Osomatsu? Osomatsu is a drunk, a gambler and a selfish asshole. On the other hand, Choro is the most responsible (most of the time) and most likely to have a job and stable life (nevermind that he doesn't, in fact, have any of that).
In the beginning, Choromatsu did not want to humor Osomatsu at all. Who does he think he is, getting in between him and his future partner?
But he quickly changed his tone when Osomatsu basically started blackmailing him. He already had a suspicion that Choro had taken an interest in you who, by the way, is supposed to be Osomatsu's potential partner, not his; but it's when he took notice of the stalker behaviour that he decided to entrevine.
Sure, unlike him, Osomatsu is actually your friend and interacts with you, instead of turning into a stuttering, useless mess whenever you so much as breathe in the same room as him. But he felt the need to show off his status as your "favorite" even more by threatening to expose how much of a shitty person Choromatsu actually is.
Well, who're you going to believe? Your friend or his weirdo otaku brother who you barely talk to?
So Choromatsu basically begged for this truce. And well, if there's something about Osomatsu, it's that he's definitely one for gleeful torment.
But them being aware of each other's obsession started to actually work for them.
They have someone to openly discuss it with, for starters. And while it can turn into arguments and petty fights between them (well, what doesn't, really), it can also lead to them being very coordinated about isolating you from others.
They do agree that anyone else who tries to get involved needs to get their shit kicked in, after all. And while Osomatsu tries his damn best to be as clingy and overly involved in your life as possible, Choromatsu basically knows where everyone who gets along with you lives and what to do with that information.
The thing about them though, is that they're both just waiting for the moment they're going to backstab each other.
And what's going to happen first? Osomatsu getting bored of this game and deciding to ruin everything or Choromatsu losing his marbles and getting violent?
Who knows, but unfortunately for you, for now they're both comfortable helping each other being your assigned creeps.
I have been playing homicipher lately and the first ending I got is to be with this guy. I really like when we have to guess word by word without caring about grammar. It really feel like when I have to learn other languages in real life
may I request yandere dalv x a yandere reader whos similarly lonely like he is? there aren't enough fics of my boy.........................
Warnings: yandere characters; mutual obsession;
Ah, Dalv is sure he has found the perfect friend, after so long of keeping to his self-imposed isolation.
You two have quite the similarities, specially when it comes to habits of who you keep yourselves around. Or, more accurately, of who you don't. But it seems that loneliness has finally caught up to you.
He was surprised by how willing you were to stay. Guiltily, he had already started planning in his head ways to stall your departure, using his familiarity with this part of the Ruins. He has grown to really love your company in the time you had together and the idea of you going on your way had left him feeling...Desolated. More than usual.
But it seems that there won't be much need for that. Even if at first you had a plan to move along and leave the Ruins, either because you had accidentally stumbled upon them and gotten lost or because your time here had you convinced that it's an empty, lonely place; by now you found yourself strangely comforted by his presence. Maybe you could stick around?
And he's delighted to hear this! Oh, he wasn't expecting visitors, much less a new resident, but he'll do his best to accommodate you!
He has so much he'd like to show you, so much he'd like to share with you. It's so nice to have such a good friend, one who truly understands him.
Especially without having to worry about the dangers waiting for you both outside. Yes, it's so much better to be here, safe. And with you! Neither of you will have to be lonely anymore.
And you feel the same way! How nice is it, to agree on something so unanimously. You don't want to leave. He's the only friend you need, you're sure of it. It's so...Comfortable here. Why would you need anyone else? Why would he?
It's never been so quiet and peaceful down here in the Ruins.
Hii! I'm pretty new to your blog, but I made sure to read your rules and I'd like to make a request!! So, could I request a Mushroom Oasis Mychael x Reader in which the Reader has a really sweet personality, but is really sensitive and ends up in tears easily?
Maybe in a situation like where Mychael gets upset at the Reader wanting to leave, they have to try so hard to hold back tears just to end up crying anyways.
Take as long as you need, no rush! Thank you for your time!! (´▽`ʃ♡ƪ)
Hi hi, welcome! :D And of course, always a pleasure to write for Mychael! Thank you for your patience as well, I finally have some time to go through some of the requests I received.
Warnings: yandere character; imprisonment;
You'd think at this point the guilt would've eaten him alive. But if there's something Mychael has become quite good at, it's keeping the balancing act of his excuses and the sinking regret he feels when he looks at you.
You still wanted to go back. The news stung, yes, maybe because your kindness had him believing he had finally convinced you to stay.
It wasn't the first time you asked, but he thought at this point he had done it. You seemed so happy. He had shown you how nice life together could be.
Was the food not good enough? Is the cabin not comfortable enough? He can make you better clothes if the ones he gave aren't fitting that well! But you slowly shake your head at each question, all the while your gaze is fixated on the floor. You could feel the sting in the corner of your eyes.
And then his frustration grows.
He just doesn't get it. He always sees humans complaining about how stressful their life is, even you had told him snippets of yours that sounded so unpleasant to deal with. But you don't have to worry about it here! He told you, he showed you.
Why do you want to leave him so badly? Can't you just listen to him for once? Is staying with him really that awful?!
And the dam finally breaks.
Mychael freezes up as you start crying, while you're trying your best to hold back against it. You fail, and between hiccups and heaves you start to apologise to him.
His heart sinks, any ounce of annoyance leaving him at sight of you genuinely upset.
You watch as lowers himself to be able face you at the level of you sitting on the bed, his ears flattened at an angle that reminds of an upset cat, and he rests his hand on yours in what he hopes is a comforting gesture. His voice is barely above a whisper now, stumbling over his own words trying to tell you that it's okay, that he's not angry.
Mycheal just...Wants to help you. He's the one who should be sorry for all of this, it's not your fault.
It takes a while for you to calm down, but you eventually do so with his reassurance.
But, well...It's not like you can leave now when you're in this state anyway, right? So why don't you rest a while longer? He'll take you back when you wake up. Promise!
He smiles softly at you, but you don't really get to see it as you're suddenly feeling strangely exhausted. Maybe he's right, you need some rest.
At some point the guilt is going to get to him. But what he will do with that guilt might not be what you're hoping for.
