The Wild and Wonderful World of Bearcats Uniform Concepts
[Disclaimer: Literally none of this is mine. I got it all from Google.]
These baseball concepts are pretty solid. Nothing fancy, but I always appreciate simplicity. Wins points for looking like something the team would actually wear.
Not really a fan of the gray, but the red and white ones are surprisingly decent. Ironically, they remind me of the brand new Under Armour red uniforms for 2016.
A little too Bengals-y for my taste, but I like the helmet stripe and honestly like the thought process on each of the alternate helmets. The large, subtle C Paw is a cool idea.
File these in the Simple, Therefore Realistic category. Kinda remind me of an updated version of our ‘60s uniforms that Oscar wore. I’d pay for one of these. I love the all-white with red numbers for some reason.
Seems like the same guy who did the hoops jerseys above. I like where these are headed, but they aren’t quite there. Also, it really irritates me how the boxes on the home jerseys don’t match the sleeve color.
TAKE MY MONEY.
No offense, but what is happening here?
These vary from okay to terrible. The one on the far left is the closest to something I’d sigh off on. I like the shorts pattern. Feels old-school.
Is it weird if I kinda love this? The new non-italic lettering and lack of scratches solves what this fixed, but I’d 100% take this over the old Adidas branding. These scratches are much cleaner than the old claw marks.
Bleh. Don’t use camo if you aren’t a service academy, and don’t use red and black camo on any occasion.
Don’t really love the jerseys, but I like the helmet as an alternate. Would be cool to use that for blackout games, because the all-white C Paw pops a lot with the white facemask and absence of red.
Way too much going on here. Gradient, chrome, and a giant C Paw? No thanks.
Helmet looks like a Christmas tree ornament. Jerseys are fine.
Don’t like the font on the primary jerseys, but the throwback concept has me intrigued. Clean that up and you might be onto something.
Another homage to the late ‘90s-early ‘00s uniforms. These are fine. I like how the area uniforms uses red on top of black, which is something we never see.
I “get it,” but I’m not a big chrome fan, and the center stripe is way too wide.
