the fox looked at her hand for a moment as she waited outside her dear friend’s door. the blood that soaked her flesh still very fresh but slowly losing its shine. raising a hand to her mouth, kumi placed her lips around a soaked digit. smirking as she looked up at the now open door. pulling the finger out of her mouth the fox tilted her head to the side. “can i use your shower by chance??”

“a-again?” sage sputtered out with a small squeak, taking in kumi’s appearance. “get in here before someone calls the cops or something-” the blonde spoke with worry on her features, grasping kumi’s hand and tugging the woman inside. “goodness- you are a mess now.” she spoke with a frown, reaching into her pocket, retrieving a handkerchief and reaching up to gently wipe away some of the blood covering her dear friend’s face. the blonde was far from shocked by the state of kumi after many similar scenarios, but she would have at least hoped by now that the fox wouldn’t make such a mess of herself!  ( @nscmnia​ )

Her response was enough to brighten his smile. “I’ll take you up on that offer.” Rhys told her as he placed his hand on the small of her back and guided to her to a bench. “But I’ll only take a bite. I’d much rather watch you enjoy it.”

Rhys held out the plastic fork for her to take so she could begin eating. “Though, once you take a bite, you may not be able to stop.” He gave a small chuckle at the thought.

“hehe, i don’t doubt it but i’ll try and stay strong!” she giggled herself before graciously accepting the fork and taking a bite. the flavor was so sweet and fluffy on her tongue- her eyes lighting up a bit. “and here i thought you were exaggerating!” she joked a small bit before grabbing another piece on the fork, and moving it up to rhys’ mouth. “here, have some.” ( @cxffeeandcigxrettes​ )

Rhys was not at all expecting to turn the corner and meet up with Sage so soon but that did not matter too much since her joyous nature had an impact in making his mood a lot better.  He quickly obliged by closing his eyes and even going as far as to cover them with his one free hand. He was definitely curious as to what she could be doing but he enjoyed playing along with her. Not too soon after, he was met with an delicate bouquet. It wasn’t at all what he thought it could be but then again, he wasn’t sure what he thought. The girl was always full of surprises. The sentiment had brought a small smile to his face. He brushed a piece of her hair back that happened to be in her face and tucked it behind her ear, grabbing the flowers after doing so. “Glad I was on your mind, you’ve picked some very beautiful flowers.” He looked at them earnestly. “I feel bad that my surprise isn’t as thoughtful.” Rhys had told her as he remembered he had something that he planned to give her. “Now hold out your hands.” He took out a small container and gently placed it in her hands, in it was the perfect slice of strawberry shortcake. “I would have gotten you something a little better if I knew but you’ll just have to let me make it up to you later. Eating this earlier reminded me of you so the obvious thing to do was to grab you a slice as well.”

sage’s face suddenly felt a bit warm at the sudden act of rhys brushing aside a strand of her hair. you’d think she would be more accustomed to it given this wasn’t exactly rare rhys behavior with her, but still, it took her by surprise each time and made her feel a bit bashful but happy nevertheless! “oh don’t be silly, this is wonderful. i’m so happy i was in your thoughts as well.” sage beamed as she graciously accepted the gift, holding it carefully. “well since we are here, would you like to share it with me?” she asked, gazing expectantly up at the much taller boy. the blonde wore a beaming smile as she met up with the boy after his shift. the girl seemed clearly enthused, viridian eyes shining with mirth. “hey! i am glad i caught you, rhys. i have a gift for you! no peaking, okay?” sage directed, feigning a stern tone when it was clear to anyone who knew her that she is was easy going as could be. “alright, here you are.” she grinned, presenting the boy with a nicely decorated flower arrangement. “i was at a nearby meadow seeking inspiration, and i thought you’d might appreciate some flowers.” ( @cxffeeandcigxrettes )

“Oh thank you!” Flora called around the giant bush as the they made their way to the corner. Once the potted plant was safely let down, she let out a deep breath of her own, arms feeling strained. She was doing her monthly plant move around, where she reorganized the plants in her greenery to make room for new ones or to give others more sunlight while others needed less. The brunette gave a smile to Sage, not realizing she was the one who suddenly gave the help. “Thanks for that, that bush is a lot heavier than it looks.” 

“no problem!” sage reassured. the small blonde was surprisingly a lot stronger than she looked, so she certainly didn’t mind helping a friend in need out! besides, flora always offered great inspiration with her beautiful plants for sage’s artistic visions. “what else is left to take care of, flora?” ( @slvrtcngvs​ )

the blonde’s lip quivered despite herself as the redhead firmly spoke to her the words she had been dreading. she was probably foolish to be to bold, but she just let her heart do the talking. admittedly she didn’t know much about luciel, but she knew that she really liked his art and wanted to connect with him more. whenever she saw him with her friends, she always wondered what it would be like to share laughs and be someone to rely on like they were.but she suppose she should have known better than to blindly follow a crush based on idealizations.( @svitchblcdes )

her attempts to place a kiss upon his forehead were adorable. the champion chuckled a little when she just settled for a chaste kiss upon his nose instead. he cherished his little sunflower, and he felt like he had been blessed by an angel whenever he got to see her blush or smile. so he teasingly pointed to his lips and said. “you missed.”

her face heated up at their proximity and his teasing. “y-you tease.” she half heartedly claimed as she hid her face in the firmness that was his chest to conceal her red features. ( @redstillness​ )

sage desperately attempted to reach up, but even with the boy crouching down a bit, he was still a giant compared to the small height the poor blonde was restricted to. but success was finally met when she finally managed to press a chaste kiss to the tip of the boy’s nose.“thank y-you for a lovely night, red.” ( red // @redstillness )

The blonde only smiled further at his words as she observed the small smile that formed on his features. It warmed her heart to see him look so happy. Considering the darker places he had been in his life, to see him like this was an utter blessing in her eyes.
