UPDATE: TAYLOR!!! Guess what?? My dad is 100% cancer free! This has been the longest 6 months (no pun intended) of my life seeing one of my best friends be so sick and miserable. When you released ME! especially, it lifted my spirits in the facts that he will beat this. Your other amazing and uplifting songs like Shake it Off and others were anthems for these 6 months. I love you so much taylor! Thank you so much for being there for me ❤️

Thank you Taylor for Soon You’ll Get Better. That song meant so much to me. As you can see above my dad was just cleared from remission and treatment. The lyrics and emotions in that song strung a chord with me and I didn’t know how to really process and express those hard feelings. Thank you again. I love this album and you so so much! 💘

There aren’t sadder kinds of songs than Soon You Will Get Better. You could lost your partner, your friends or even yourself but it’s never the same pain as seeing someone you love the most feeling worse and worse because of something, especially when it’s a disease. Stay strong Taylor and I hope you know all my love and prayers are with Andrea.

taylor had to walk out of her own living room when soon you’ll get better was playing at every lover secret session because she couldn’t bear to hear it, and that’s more than understandable. relating to that song is unbelievably painful and one of the worst experiences anybody could go through. unfortunately at the moment the amount of people who could relate to it is higher than usual. 

so for taylor to share something so personal and vulnerable - something that up until now we know she has steadfastly avoided talking about because it’s too painful - in the hopes that it could bring comfort and hope to those people… that’s just so incredibly selfless and brave that i’m at a loss for words. i couldn’t be prouder. i love you taylor

as a european fan of course I’m sad that the concerts were cancelled but the reason I’m angry rn is that europe didn’t even got mentioned in the statement. They could at least address european fans and either say straight Taylor won’t come to europe at all with lover in the future or say that they’re trying to plan something different but can’t say/promise anything yet. And again the Berlin show was not a festival, it was her own show
