Only me and like 4 other people read nine peaks but my god the stuff between Daichi and Kanamori really broke my heart. I don’t want to go too much into it cause I always hold out hope one day nine peaks will be popular like tokrev and windbre, but I had to hold back so many tears with this. Kanamori is not likable by any means but I can’t help but feel so sorry for both of them in this. Anyway if anyone is into nine peaks and knows what I’m talking about please comment! I have no one to talk to about it at all 😭

i'm completely caught up to the manga (past the English translations) and i still don't entirely understand Wagatsuma's loyalty to Kanamori. The author brings up parallels between Wagatsuma and Gaku a lot and how they are both fighting for their dads and stuff, but like come on... the first interaction between Wagatsuma and Kanamori is Kanamori abandoning him to keep his infidelity a secret and when they meet again in the past, he just keeps being a complete asshole to everyone around them. Wagatsuma literally says that Kanamori is the exact type of person he hates. I get that he was his first friend and is his dad or whatever but me personally, I would not keep supporting someone like that.
