I don’t expect anything from anyone, but honestly at this point i’m scared I won’t be able to hit my goal for top surgery before college. My name is Jayden, i’m 17 years old, and i’ve been binding since i was 13 years old. Since this October I have been trying to save money before I go off to college, however due to covid, school, and other factors i’ve barely been able to make money. My hours have been cut, i couldn’t be at work for two weeks due to my parents getting covid, and the restaurant I work at have been losing money. I work minimum wage (9 dollars per hour) for only part time.
I really do not want to make anyone feel obligated to donate to me, but I can’t bind anymore. I have been binding daily for 4 years, and mentally and physically it’s been destroying me. My body is constantly in pain even when I don’t bind for multiple days. My body dysphoria has never been worse, and at this point i’ve been obsessive over how my chest looks. It’s not just that i’m completely flat, it’s also been that I even have a chest in the first place.
I’m planning on going to Dr Ken Wolf in Michigan who’s top surgery costs 6400$. He’s one of the best surgeons for his price in my state, and has been known to treat his transgender patients well. I only need 4,400 more in order to hit my goal.
