i'm starting to worry a bit about how feasible it is to navigate adult life without a car. does anybody have any experience with it??

It's very feasible, while we do have a high car to people population, we also don't have alot of traffic and that's because public transportation

Most people use public transportation for their day-to-day getting around. A car is really only necessary if you're planning on moving more stuff than you can carry or going somewhere that doesn't have as many train tracks or buses

So if you do need a car for a specific reason, then you can always go with a friend that does have one. But you should be fine without one

i just watched a show called sk8 the infinity for the first time pretty recently and it made me really emotional about myself honestly. ^^; so i'd say probably that.

i first started realizing i liked boys when i was a younger kid, actually. there was a guy in my karate class i really really admired, and whenever i had to spar against him i got really nervous for some reason. then i started having thoughts about how it might be nice to kiss him and then i kind of got the memo. ^^; aaaand then i ignored the memo for the next eight years-ish.

i'm not really sure how to answer this! i mean, to me, it just feels normal, i suppose? i've always had a tail, i don't know what it feels like to not have a tail.

I evaded my taxes this year

please file your taxes! i know it's really annoying! it takes hours sometimes! but you have to do it anyway! it's a crime to evade your taxes!

you absolutely have to do your taxes! tax evasion is illegal! and if you don't file your taxes the national tax agency is going to start asking you questions and god will not be an accepted defence!

get your income information together! if you're employed somewhere they'll provide the documents you need! if you're self-employed or doing independent hero work you need to keep records of what you earned and what you spent on work-related expenses!

calculate your income, subtract any deductions you're entitled to, fill out your return and submit it before the deadline! there are online systems for ease of access! if you're confused there are lots of guides! and if you're still confused get an accountant!

your taxes go towards things we all need! like roads! and hospitals! and schools! and emergency services! do your taxes!

Hagakure arrived at Ojirou's house not too long after texting him. She didn't wait to be invited in instead opening the door like she lived there.

"Ojirou?"

She called, he could be in any room.

Ojiro immediately poked his head out of the kitchen, his hair slightly mussed, now having changed into his pyjamas upon getting home from school.

"Ah- Toru! Hey!" he perked up, discarding the broom he had been holding and walking over to greet her properly. "You really didn't have to come over, I'm actually doing really great! Seriously, I've been so productive today. It's only 10pm and I've already gotten so much done. You wouldn't believe it."

"I believe you, but have you considered you should rest? I'll do the rest of the chores for you and Tsuburaba." She didn't mind doing the chores, as long as it meant Ojirou wouldn't be pushing himself. "You work hard enough."

"I was actually resting for a really long time. I was resting for like two days straight, and then I went to school but even there I was taking it pretty easy and I rested again as soon as I got home - I'm really not used to resting that long, I kind of like to move around as much as I can when I can," he rambled, barely even pausing to give himself time to breathe. "So it's probably good that I've been up a bit more! My stomach still hurts pretty bad though. My whole body feels totally weird right now, there's way too much going on."

He looks back into the kitchen. He had been cleaning it at first, but when he realized how cluttered it was, he had pivoted to reorganizing all the cabinets. That had already taken about an hour, and honestly, his body was starting to feel pretty tired. The logical part of him was saying to rest, but the rest of his brain felt completely restless. He really needed that lithium to kick in fast.

"Or-...maybe I should sit," he finally conceded, running a hand through his hair.

"Oh, yeah I can help you get to a chair or a couch if you'd like." She felt embarrassed for over reacting, even if he still did need more rest.

She offered her shoulder for him to lean on, letting him choose if he wanted to.

His head was still swimming somewhat. His thoughts were moving too fast. He was thinking of a million things he could be doing right now that weren't resting. The kitchen still had to be finished up. He hadn't really started on any yardwork yet either. Plus he still had homework. He had missed a few days of workouts too, that was probably something he should-

Manic. He had to keep reminding himself. Rest.

"That-...yeah," he started, somewhat dazed and promptly resting a bit of wait against Hagakure's shoulder. "Thank you, Toru."

Hagakure lead him to the couch, helping him lay down on his side. "I'll get ykur chores finished in no time, and if there's still some in the morning we can do them together."

She knew he had a broom, so sweeping was on the list. She could get them done maybe within the hour if she got started right now.

He laid down on the couch, looking over at the various supplies he had left on the site table. He really had built a nest here over the past few days. That was a bit embarrassing now that Hagakure was over.

"You sure you don't want a hand?" he asked, sitting up slightly, his body still somewhat jittery with excess energy. "I mean- I can still- if you want, I can still help."
