I must be the last person in this fandom to realize this but holy shit. They literally used the same tagline for season 4. They straight-up stole the tagline of a movie famous for its alternate endings.

They’re trolling the world. No wonder this screening was so early. No wonder they’re chilling right now as spoilers leak left and right, after they kept setlock under such close watch, after they had some reviews with the minorest of spoilers deleted, after Sue put entire countries in the basement. They want those spoilers out here right now.

In the Clue Movie, there were three endings: Ending A, B and C, where C was the REAL ending. 

1) BFI SCREENING today

2) Screening in Cardiff on Thursday

3) Worldwide Premiere on BBC One/PBS Masterpiece on Sunday

So the BFI screening today was our Ending A, tomorrow’s showing in Cardiff is our Ending B, and the premiere on Sunday is our Ending C.

Lestrade-centric fic rec

Well, it’s been months since I got on Tumblr or AO3, but for some reason I fell into a search for improvements on the first ep of Sherlock series 4 today and found a wonderful little Lestrade fic. Now I have to rec it. It’s called Windhover, by Tammany over on AO3 and provides much-needed extra Lestrade scenes for The Six Thatchers. The relationship between Lestrade and Sherlock is nicely done with sharp, funny dialogue and a warm, old-friends-who-can-say-anything-to-each- other feel. As a Mystrade shipper, I also appreciate the hints at a longterm relationship between the D.I. and Antarctica. Poor John has to take some knocks in this one, so if you’re not up for that, you may not be interested. But the focus is really Lestrade as caretaker. It’s  the Lestradey, Gen fic I needed to get me through a cold, rainy, dark January day. Now just need some Lestrade as falcon art to go along with it!
