@ofdetonation : I've been a fan of Cam for a very long time. Their blog is one of the few you'll see me occasionaly check for headcanons, muse thoughts etc. because their portrayal is one of the best I've seen.

Generally, I value accuracy to canon, but if writing style is good, I tend to overlook that. For me, there's this balance to like somebody's writing: if portrayal isn't really faithful to canon but writing style is good, I'll love them. If writing style isn't that good, but their portrayal is accurate, I'll love them again. For most writers, their portrayal might not be very close to canon (I think around a 70% of accuracy) , but they feed me with some incredible writing which makes me incredibly happy. This isn't Cam.

Cam has chosen to write one of the most difficult canon characters, and not only their portrayal is nearly equal to canon in my head, but their writing style is incredible as well. Their Katsuki is as if reading some secret pages directly from the manga, something I can't help but admire, especially when it comes to one of my favorite fictional characters. I am more of a fan and reader of their blog than a roleplay partner, and I'm incredibly lucky I came across their blog a few years ago, and I can call them my Shoto's Katsuki ( my OTP actually ). Their portrayal is simply top class, something I came across very few times in this website, and I will cherish their writing for as long as I can.

@hatecharred : First of all, I love their writing. This is the first thing I check before following someone, and theirs is truly top quality. Their blog aesthetic is neat ( and all of it it's their own! ), their rules make someone feel welcome to follow them, their love for their muse is apparent, and well, I can't wait to write with them.

@ofsavior : My beloved Madi. Madi is one of the longest mutuals I've had, one of the first people to embrace my Shoto when I first started writing him ( back when I didn't know what tagging and graphics were for ), and the one having survived countless blog moves (how did you do that?).

I love Madi. Her writing is incredible, one of my favorite writing styles, which is what I appreciate the most in a blog. I'm a big fan of hers. I love the variety of muses she writes, and how faithful she is to all. I love her presence on the dash, and all the fun times we've had through the years, along with the ic pain and tears (dramatic huh?).

Madi's the reason I ship TodoMomo, a ship I wasn't fond of at the beginning, but with her approach, her writing, her wonderful portrayals, she made us ( Shoto and me ) fall for Momo, which is a talent I admire. I love all our bonds, all our interactions, and I can't ever get enough of her. Madi rocks. 🤘

Another multi that I've actually been mutuals with for a while, is @knightinsourarmor ! We haven't had any interactions yet, but they were one of my first follows when I made this blog, and for good reason! I loved their aesthetic, and their writing was just....wow. I was so impressed when I first read through their stuff. Their writing is descriptive, and you can easily follow the flow of a characters thoughts throughout their responses.

What inspires your writing?

Clichè, but I'm going to say the characters I write, along with music, videos, and fictional works in general.

The characters I write are a source of inspiration on their own, considering 90% of the time I love them a bit too much ( while 10% is solely for writing purposes: exploring certain themes, etc. ). Said characters are often affiliated with themes or keywords that I often associate either with music pieces, or videos, or even other sources of media such as movies / tv shows / pairs.

There might be a muse I associate with mother issues, for example. Instantly they're tied to songs tied to that theme, they'll be compared with other characters with similar experiences, etc. Or I might find inspiration for a ship through a different one ( Ereri for example with Patrochilles, or Tododeku with Kumirei ). Or a movie whose main character reminds me of one I write, may give me lots of ideas to work on while analyzing it.

Generally, I tend to connect my muses with many other stuff to stir my brain to write, and that's what I also love about having a multimuse. Everything I love is connected in a way, yet everyone's so different at the same time, and I love jumping between such interesting ideas.

What is the one thing you’re the proudest of in your writing?

I'm not gonna focus on writing style because English isn't my mother language and even though I've made lots of progress through the years, my writing can't be compared to that of my mother language. I'm hoping one day I reach that level.

Something I'm proud of, I admit is my portrayals. I don't mean to brag, but I think I can have a good idea of the ' voice ' of a character, of how they sound, act, and react depending the situation, whether I write them or others do. Apart from a few times of insecurity that affect me occasionally, I think I can make my portrayal pretty accurate and faithful to canon, and that's something I'm happy with. I love understanding in depth all fictional characters, and having achieved that to some degree makes me really happy.

The question catches him off-guard, cuts through him like a knife. Jean wonders if Mikasa has noticed – the longing stares, his desire to protect her, stand by her, be with her. And in that same vein, he doesn't think she sees him that way. He doesn't think she ever has. Jean suspects the place her heart lies, and it isn't with him.

But in spite of it all, he doesn't wish she was different. He never would. Even if it meant Mikasa would never see him the way he saw her – Jean would never wish for her to change. Not even for a moment. Not even for a chance.

❛ No. ❜ He answers simply, his lips twitching upwards into something akin to a smile. Now, he supposes he'll bite. He'll ask the same of her. ❛ And me? ❜

Insecurity didn't characterize Mikasa, yet there were brief moments where her confidence wavered. These moments had begun to grow in frequency and intensity, while the one she held closest to her heart kept advancing forward at a pace she couldn't any longer catch up with. Eren wouldn't look back, he wouldn't wait for her, and she didn't expect him to. It was her fault, her inability, which made her heart race with self-doubt some days. Even if left behind though, she never felt to be alone. Whenever she stared at her side, she'd see him. Was it a coincidence, how he's always been there for her, or had he been watching over her silently, all this time, without making himself known? Jean, whose presence had once been so loud?

She found herself burying her face in her scarf at his response, his words providing the same warmth. This scarf, her source of comfort, would now hide her expression, one she couldn't show to him. She couldn't show this side of her to anyone, other than her found family. It was in her strength of body and heart everyone relied on. He couldn't have him doubt her strength, see she had been affected not only by hopelessness, but his kindness as well. “ I don't, ” she said, her tone a bit softer than usual, slowly feeling more certain of herself. Once regained part of her confidence, eyes met his for the first time since she made that question, a bit melancholic and down-turned, but for a different reason.

The truth was, he had changed. Always focused on Eren, worrying, despairing, she had forgotten to check on the people that mattered to her. She hadn't been there for Jean, to see the transition towards the person he had turned into. She wondered if he'd keep changing, and if so, if she could be there for him this time. If she was the only one who refused to grow, move on, give in.

Kousaka Reina. She's the fictional character I've related with the most. And the reason I've taken her first name for my pen name, and I often use her for my faceclaim. She's 90% me, and many times in the anime ( Hibike! Euphonium ), I've felt as if I've been in her place many times before.

The way she's distant / cold, yet warms up to those she cares for. The way she's ambitious but is emotional at the same time, and struggling with herself because of that. I can't describe it properly, but she's ME in many ways. Even in hairstyle, behavior, sense of style, habits, zodiac etc.

Other characters I relate with is Katsuki ( second after Reina ), Shoto, Levi ( how do I even dare to bring up his name? ), Licht, and Chisato.
