So, the other night, my Turbs was coming to visit. And I was lounging about in my house drinking coffee and watching 30 Rock. And Turbs arrived at my house, and began texting me, but my phone decided to just…never alert me. :| So. Thought I needed to illustrate this with the text which was sent to me by a very cold and desperate Turbo standing outside in the snow. »;

So this happened in my notes on a day in my South Asia culture class where we spent the day pretty much doing nothing other than watching video clips and having our professor show us photos he took from the various times he’s worked in Sri Lanka. He also said that we didn’t really need to take notes. So I spent my time doodling in my notebook. And of course I liked one doodle enough that one minute I’m scanning it, and the next thing I know I’m inking it and then coloring and shading it and messing with the lighting and then this!
I don’t think I ever intended for it to be this dark but I do like it much better than the version without the dark overlay thing on top.
Also. I realize this might look silly because Felix’s head is a giant hand. And neither of them have mouths. So this is the closest thing to kissing either of them can do. I dunno I guess you could also look at it as the two of them doing whatever their equivalent of resting their foreheads together is?? Where they’re really into it??? The more you think about it the sillier it seems. At least to me.

I put them at this little cafe table and there was no room for food, so, um, pretend they just arrived and haven’t ordered yet. :3 Romantic candle-lit dinner date for KC and Turbs. I was actually going to put Turbs in fancy clothes, but got too lazy. I DID TAKE HIS HELMET OFF THO. KC thinks his faux hawk is adorable.

I think this scene shows how influenced Merida is by her father. I like how Merida’s father is totally for everything his daughter wants to be. Merida wasn’t rebellious or into what she was into just because the story needed her to be that way, she has someone in her life that supports her being this way.
Daughter wants to get involved in archery? Sure, here’s your own bow!
Daughter gets a huge plate of sweets to eat even though it’s improper? So what?
Daughter rejects all the guys that fight for her hand? Well she’s too good for them anyways!
I just like how Merida’s wanting to be independent was an influence, not a trait that’s just there.

well i finally fucking finished this

so here it is: Wreck-It Ralph and the gang in the style of Okami (best game ever imo). based their clothing off of various characters to get the feel of it (mostly Susano, Ikari, Princess Fuse, and Chun to name a few). after a minor mishap with Calhoun’s obi, i decided to make her an “onna-bugeisha” or female samurai which was waaaaaay more fitting
then i added a border and finally a seal as a signature (all it says is “bakemono” or monster)
