been in one of my recurring BATB obsessions recently, and while this probably isn’t the first time i’ve ever drawn belle (i’m almost certain i drew the disney princesses over and over as a child) it is the first time i’ve drawn an homage to The Dance Scene That Changed Animation.

belle’s outfit based on @shoomlah ‘s wonderful historical redux and beast’s is based on a design by @artist-ellen - both with a bit of the broadway design’s flair thrown in too.
