Emeiel plucked the damn thorns from their wings. Gold blood covered their hands, stupid sinners and their abilities. Emeiel ignored the tears, the thorns in their wings made it feel like they had been shot.

Why did their wings have to be so sensitive?

The sinner's head was on the floor. He apparently were able to shoot thorns at Emeiel, which is why they were in this situation. Upon seeing the thorns flying through the air, they instictively had wrapped their wings around themselves.

Emeiel heard a knock on their door. Emeiel glanced down, they were just in sweat pants and a black undershirt. "Come in," they said through gritted teeth; not caring about their state.

Vox opens the door with a smile and a brown paper bag in hand “Hey babe! I got food and-what the actual fuck, why is there blood everywhere..?”

He stares for a moment at Emeiel wide eyed..then drops the bag and rushes over

“Are you okay? What happened? Honey, what’s going on why are you bleeding??”

He frantically lays his hands on Emeiels shoulders looking utterly terrified and worried.

“We can get some bandages it’ll be okay- don’t worry don’t- don’t worry!”

He says despite the fact he’s panicking more than Emeiel is.

Emeiel sighs, and takes out a couple more of the thorns. "I'll be okay, I've handled worse."

"I had a few limbs lost, including that wing. This experience led to my pain scale getting skewed. I lost feeling in my bottom two wings as well." Emeiel plucked a couple of loose feathers off her wings. "My wings grow back, but... yeah. Thats why my pain scale is skewed."
