My blogs are no longer on hiatus. I am, however, putting them on a trial. Based on activity, I'll decide in the future if I'm keeping them all active, some active, or none.
I'll throw out some ooc posts pertaining to this blog soon. In the meantime, the inbox is always open.
I am on hiatus until the start of next year. I am available to chat and rp on discord (strryhntr)!! Come see me. Can't wait to start the new year back on tumblr, from my new house!!!!!
I'm not going to be around tumblr for a while. I am still rping, just over on Discord (strryhntr) for the time being. Come visit and chat and write with me! I have a buttload of new muses, too. ;)
Angels are not inherently benevolent — don’t assume loyalty or morality aligns with “heavenly.” Their motives are often inscrutable, and they can be extremely dangerous if crossed. Always approach with caution and prep for contingency.
Abilities:
Super strength, speed, and endurance.
Teleportation / “flaring in and out” — difficult to track if not prepared.
Mind-reading / influence — some angels can probe thoughts, memories, or emotions.
Healing / resurrection capabilities — can be used on themselves or others.
Weaknesses:
Vulnerable to certain enchanted or consecrated weapons.
Powerful holy relics or artifacts can disrupt them.
Direct engagement without plan is dangerous; they can end fights instantly.
Holy oil can contain an angel for a period of time. Best to create a circle with the oil, then light it on fire once the target is within the circle.
Notable Angels:
Balthazar
Rogue angel, former Heaven operative.
Cunning, self-serving, but has a tendency to “help” when it benefits him.
Very knowledgeable about Heaven, Hell, and demonic politics.
Approach: Assume he’s always manipulating — trust cautiously and verify.
Personal Note: Charming, infuriating, occasionally helpful… but will stab you metaphorically if it suits him. May stab you literally. Last known status: dead. This hasn't been fully confirmed. I had a personal connection to him; he was far more human-seeming than any other angel I have encountered. He held very unique views, and had a propensity for manipulating time and space.
Machidiel (Mac)
Far older than her vessel appears; Mac is an angel with sharp instincts; more direct, less subtle than Balthazar.
Strategic, capable of reading the battlefield quickly.
Can be reckless in pursuit of goals, but loyal to those she trusts.
Has spent more time on Earth than any other known angel. She favors those with great courage, and in more modern times has aligned herself with hunters.
Approach: Keep her informed but don’t assume you know her full endgame. While she is not loyal to Heaven any longer, her goals may differ depending on the situation. She will do what she deems necessary, even if that is at your detriment.
Personal Note: Bright and annoying, but her heart’s in the right place… usually. Having worked closely and personally with her, I can attest to the fact that she is far more 'human-like' than the majority of other angels.
Castiel (Cas)
Appears as a human in form but is an angel; precise age unknown. Known to intervene in major supernatural events, often aligning with hunters. Strategic and capable of processing complex situations quickly, though methods are sometimes confusing to humans. Can act unpredictably, especially when balancing Heaven’s rules versus on-the-ground realities.
Approach: Treat as a potential ally, but don’t assume full knowledge of motives or limits. While generally aligned with hunters’ goals, his priorities may shift depending on circumstances. Observation and careful communication are key — he’s effective but enigmatic.
Personal Note: Sharp and unnervingly calm, but there’s a definite streak of loyalty to those he deems worthy. Always appears at critical moments; timing is deliberate, not coincidence. Helpful? Usually. Completely predictable? Not a chance. While I didn't have direct contact with this angel, information is readily available due to his involvement with hunters.
Tactics & Notes for Hunters:
Always have a retreat plan; never underestimate mobility and teleportation.
Magical wards, sigils, and enchanted weapons are essential.
Angels vary widely in personality — some are helpful, some are psychopathic. Track patterns and past interactions carefully.
Keep tabs on angelic politics; knowing who’s currently “in favor” can save your life.
Always remember: an angel’s version of help may come with a lifetime of debt — or a Hell-sized problem.
Demons are dangerous, unpredictable, and usually self-serving. Powers vary widely depending on hierarchy, but most are manipulative, violent, and clever. Always assume there’s a hidden agenda.
Abilities:
Possession of humans (most common among lower- to mid-level demons).
Enhanced strength, speed, and resilience.
Use of black magic, curses, or infernal energy.
Teleportation/teleport-like movement in some high-tier demons.
Weaknesses:
Exorcism, holy water, iron, salt, ritual binding.
Higher-level demons are often tied to contracts, magical items, or specific vulnerabilities.
Many demons respond to fear, bargaining, or threats — sometimes in unpredictable ways.
Notable Demons:
Crowley
King of Hell; incredibly cunning, manipulative, and resourceful.
Can make or break deals in an instant; exceptionally knowledgeable about both human and supernatural politics.
Approach: Never trust completely; even when he helps, there’s always a cost.
Personal Note: Charming bastard… with an ego you can land a plane on. He knows how to manipulate a situation to benefit himself. He rarely actually lies, but will omit information to use later as leverage. Be very precise when asking anything of him; leave no room for him to pull one over on you.
Micah
Ambitious, calculating, and dangerous; will take long-term risks to achieve goals.
Can manipulate humans and supernatural creatures alike.
Approach: Assume every move has multiple layers; watch for indirect effects.
Personal Note: Too clever for his own good, but that makes him predictable… sometimes. His thirst for power often overrides his sense of self-preservation. He has worked closely with witches and has gained further power and abilities through it. He is charming, but it is always an act. He often poses as a hunter to satiate his boredom, and in attempt to gain trust from actual hunters. Being a crossroads demon, he makes deals for souls-- in his own way. Rarely summoned, he frequents bars and similar locations in search of the most desperate people.
Azula
Lower-level demon with a sadistic streak, especially enjoys torture.
Will ally with hunters if her goals align — but expect betrayal if it benefits her.
Approach: Bargain carefully; never leave an opening for manipulation.
Personal Note: Likes pain… yours, mine, or someone else’s. Keep a fast exit nearby. I have a personal relationship with her; a very rare experience with a demon. If you tell her your a friend of mine, she will likely be more open to actually helping you. Still, she is a demon and must be treated with caution. I cannot guarantee a connection to me will save you.
Demon Types:
1. Low-level demons
Traits: Mostly possess humans, minor powers, expendable.
Weaknesses: Exorcism, holy water, iron, salt.
Notes: Easily replaced by higher-tier demons; often serve as scouts or enforcers.
2. Mid-level demons
Traits: Can exert more magical force, some can teleport or curse humans.
Weaknesses: Standard demon weaknesses + stronger bindings.
Notes: Often manage territory, enforce contracts, and manipulate events behind the scenes.
3. High-level
Traits: Immensely powerful, long-lived, and extremely strategic.
Weaknesses: Tied to contracts, rituals, magical artifacts, or Heaven/Hell politics.
Notes: Crowley is a prime example; always plan for contingencies.
4. Special / Unique demons
Traits: Unique powers, sometimes supernatural hybrids or rare types.
Weaknesses: Highly situational; usually tied to lore, artifacts, or magical bindings.
Notes: Treat with extreme caution; research first.
5. Crossroads Demons
Traits: Deal-makers; manipulate humans with charm and cunning. Enforce contracts magically; rarely rely on brute force.
Weaknesses: Salt, iron, exorcism, holy artifacts; contracts and proper rituals can trap or banish them.
Notes: Dangerous in words more than fists; always read the fine print. Clever loopholes can turn any plan against you. Better yet, don't make a deal with one. Your soul isn't worth whatever they offer, which is often a manipulated version of what you wanted.
6. Knights of Hell
Traits: Elite demons created by Lucifer; extremely powerful, strategic, and nearly indestructible. Skilled fighters, can possess humans or manipulate others indirectly.
Weaknesses: Enchanted weapons, demon-killing knives, advanced holy magic; banishment rituals can work but are risky.
Notes: Never engage unprepared; require multiple contingencies. One-on-one is rarely survivable without a solid plan. Last known Knights were Abaddon and Dean Winchester. Abaddon was eliminated, Winchester cured. This doesn't mean the possibility of others isn't there. Always expect there to be more.
Tactics & Notes:
Always know the demon’s hierarchy before engagement; low-level demons can be bait, high-level demons are game-changers.
Binding sigils, iron, salt, holy water, and silvered weapons are essentials.
Contracts with demons are dangerous; always have an escape route.
Track patterns carefully — many demons like to manipulate events slowly and subtly.
Never assume loyalty, even in alliances.
Keep multiple exit strategies.
Make a note of every deal or observation — could save your life later.
When in doubt, assume betrayal — it’s saved me more times than I can count.
While demons are less common now, always assume there could be an event that allows more to escape from Hell and wreak havoc. Keep holy water and salt on you at all times. You can also use the Latin word for Christ-- Cristo-- to test if you think someone is possessed and you're not able to use other methods. Most importantly, don't make the same mistakes I did. Don't trust a demon for any reason.
