After a long time of life, no art, and being dead here.. I have made my oc. Thank you to new episodes of TADC bringing back the spark I needed to create 💕
"Don't want you, need you, yeah I need you to fill me up.." Y/N hummed absentmindedly, scrolling through tiktok.
She froze. Ugh, seriously? This stupid song. So catchy. Stupid demon saja boys. Sexy demons. So hot...and stupid. Hate them.
"Hey, Y/N! Your on stage in five!" Bobby, the fan-favourite manager yelled, sprinting over with a beaming smile.
Y/N startled. "Oh- right! Thanks Bobby. Your doing a brilliant job, by the way. I don't know how you organise all this..." shooting up, she gave Bobby a big smile and gestured to the large amounts of stage hands, security, and props backstage.
Bobby laughed, scratching the back of his neck. A habit he did when he was embarrassed or nervous.
"Hey, it's what I do! Now get out there! Your gonna rock this tour." He pumped his fist with a motivational whoop, before turning with his pen tapping his clipboard and shouting some orders to a couple of stage hands.
"Hey, no, that's supposed to go over there! Ugh.." Bobby scurried away, dealing with yet another backstage mishap.
Y/N laughed, before walking towards where the other three girls were standing.
Zoey looked nervous, but also excited. Rumi looked apprehensive, but pumped at the same time. Mira had a large smile on her face.
Y/N smiled.
"Hey girls. You ready?" She asked.
Zoey jumped up and down. "Hell yeah!" She grinned. Y/N laughed at her group member's antics. Rumi smiled slightly. "Plus Ultra." Mira added.
Zoey turned to her. "Wrong universe, mira." She reminded. This was in fact, a kpop demon hunters fanfiction. Not a my hero academia fanfiction. "Let's show those Saja Boys what we're made of! Send them back to Gwima for good!" Zoey added.
"Alright, let's go." Mira cheered.
Huntrix don't miss!" The girls said in unison, before pouring onto the stage. The lights were dark.
Rumi, mira, and zoey each took their places. Y/N found hers, walked up onto her designated part of the stage, and took a deep breath. She cleared her mind, pushing aside any thoughts but the performance.
The curtains were pulled, revealing a huge, cheering audience. She could vaguely hear the rough sounds of a crowd singing an older Huntrix song, and she smiled.
The loyalty and community their fans had built always made Y/N feel good. She was proud her and the girls managed to build such a great fandom.
The lights were dimmed on stage, so the crowd couldn't see them yet. Y/N took her stance, waiting for her cue.
Blue lights lit up a third of the stage. Zoey's silhouette appeared, cast bigger on the numerous giant screens around the venue. the crowd started cheering so loudly Y/N could hear it through her in-ears. Soon the crowd went silent, though.
"We." Zoey spoke, her voice echoing all around the stadium.
The blue lights went off, Zoey's outline disappearing with it as instead pink lights appeared on a different part of the stage. Mira's silhouette became clear, also blasted on every screen in the stadium.
"Are." She continued.
Y/N adjusted her posture. Green lights went on, casting her in bright verdant lights. To everyone else, they could only see her silhouette.
"Huntrix." She spoke, her voice unwavering despite the hundreds of thousands of people watching.
Cheers exploded.
The green lights turned off, replaced again by all three lights, Blue, Pink, and Green, making a circle together - with the addition of a purple spotlight in the centre, Rumi standing on a slightly elevated part of the stage.
The crowd literally screamed, such a loud roar it made Y/Ns ears pop. Damn, guess the Saja Boys hadn't taken as many of their fans as they thought. Still a sold out stadium with even more people outside who couldn't get tickets.
"We are hunters. Voices strong." Rumi stated, her voice slightly echoing, but strong and firm. She stood with straight posture and a serious expression.
"Slaying demons with our song." Mira spoke, her low voice adding to the remnants of rumi's echoing words due to the size of the stadium.
"Fix the world and make it right." Zoey continued, her slightly higher voice echoing and loud, but still filled with a degree of glee.
"When darkness finally meets the light." Y/N finished, staring out at the crowd with a slight smile despite trying to keep a serious face as rehearsed.
The three girls dropped their heads, then the lights turned off once more.
They each rushed slightly further down the stage, abandoning the double circle stage that looked slightly like a two tiered cake for the stage hands to dismantle in the darkness.
Now closer to the crowd, the girls stood in position.
The opening notes of Golden started playing, and fans started screaming in excitement for Huntrix's top song, despite it being their newest release.
"I was a ghost, I was alone...Ha, do wojin, Ha, ke sok e..." Rumi began, each girl nailing the joint choreography perfectly. The girls vocalised with rumi as she sang the main parts. They consumed the stage presence effortlessly, years of experience paying off yet again.
The stage was bathed in soft gold light, with gold sparks showering down behind the girls. Bobby really outdid himself with organising the special effects.
The rest of Golden went on without a hitch - even when rumi flew over the crowd in a very thin trial hoop while belting out the hardest notes in the song. There was a reason she was the main vocalist.
The girls were halfway through the next song, Takedown. They were in perfect sync, elated as they saw the Honmoon throb with strength.
Fans pumped lightsticks through the air, matching the beat and bass.
Something clattered onto the stage.
The girls eyes all tracked to it, remaining professional-
A shock wave tore through the air.
Y/N launched back, blinding white light obscuring her vision.
A loud ringing sound crushed through her ears. A huge wave of heat blasted through the stadium.
For about ten seconds, she was completely numb. The shock from the bomb, the flash stealing her vision, the bang muting her hearing.
Then sharp pain crashed into her body. The blinding light faded, though it wasn't that much better - ash and smoke obscuring the air in swathes of thick, unbreathable clouds. Flames licked all around the stadium.
Groaning, she attempted to stand up.
Shit, she could barely breathe. Her lungs felt tight, and she involuntarily kept coughing from the particles filling the air.
The stage was in ruins. The stadium not much better. Most of the fans had evacuated, and she could already hear faint sirens. Wether from police or firefighters, she didn't know.
The part of the stage she was standing on had completely collapsed in on itself, the impact of the bomb destroying the structure and the force of the explosion rendering her severely injured.
She instinctively reached her hand to her leg. Hissing, it came back up drenched in blood. Oh, crap. A piece of shrapnel had tore through her flesh. She tried standing anyway - using her sheer willpower to pull herself up. She could barely stand. Taking a step, her leg buckled in on itself, sending her crashing to the floor. A scream of pain ripped from her throat.
She lay there, panting. The flames had only grew, feeding off the debris from the bomb. The smoke was so thick, it was hard to breathe. Every breath sent her into a coughing fit. Every cough made her lungs attempt to get more oxygen. She was borderline asphyxiating.
Black spots creeper into her vision, bubbling in her periferie like a shadow lengthening in the setting sun. Slow, but sure.
..
A blur of pink shot through the orange inferno.
Y/N felt herself lift off the ashy ground, instead supported by impossibly strong arms. She tried to blink open her eyes, but she could only see a blur. She heard a voice - too deep to be any of the girls. She kind of recognised it..the sound vibrated through her skull, brain not processing the words.
She could only make out something mint green, and golden eyes staring down at her, then ahead.
Her thoughts were screaming so many things, but it all dulled, going dark in a blink.
A/N: don't worry, she's not dead, she just fainted.
okay, so i completely re-wrote the end of this chapter - I re-read my entire fic and got the motivation to write again, and figured what better way to get out of writers block than to re-write the last chapter that I just can't get past?
Let me know what you thought of this! I will be continuing this fic. Please please comment or something so that I know people are actually reading this instead of being lost to the void 🙏🏼
And as always, asks are always open! Feel free to request anything - i write for multiple fandoms!
account is going to be off hiatus for now! we’ll only be accepting moodboards and userboxes, but this may change to open the rest of my services once I’m less busy :) happy requesting everyone, and I’m glad to be back
I return. I'll probably be a bit slow but I don't have anything going on tomorrow so I can answer the asks that have piled up then. I'll reopen the ask box once I've gotten to all the ones already in there
Breaking my hiatus with a whisper and a howl. I'm back. What this blog becomes next, I’m not entirely sure. Maybe something a little wilder. Like a need on a leash, desire growing teeth.
I’ll likely be writing smut again, though it may drift away from the Pedroverse (my master will still be linked with all of my previous writings; nothing is being removed there or from my AO3). If that’s not your vibe anymore, I understand completely—no hard feelings if you decide to unfollow.
But please, still tag me in your work and say hello. I love seeing what you create.
