me, thinking of my most used latin vocab consisting of 15 latin words i know for “kill,” 8 different exclamations of woe, and the word that means “to fart at someone”: yeah it’s pretty helpful for derivatives and stuff

i have apparently left a lot of people hanging on this word, and i do apologize

the word in question is “oppedere” which literally means “to fart at” but is used in the sense of mock or insult. it takes a dative!
