🔴 On the night of 2 June, russian forces launched ballistic missiles and drones at Kyiv. 4 people are known to have been killed and 58 injured, including children.
Podilskyi district: a strike on a 9-storey residential building caused partial destruction of the upper floors. People may be trapped under the rubble. The rescue operation is ongoing. There were also reports of cars catching fire, a fire in an educational establishment, and a fire on the premises of a municipal enterprise
Obolon District: a fire broke out in a site hut at a construction site
Shevchenkivskyi District: the façade and roof of a 9-storey residential building have been damaged
Darnitskyi district: a fire broke out at a petrol station
Solomyanskyi District: fires have been reported in residential buildings and the private sector. Rescue workers have rescued a man
Holosiivskyi District: retail premises, office buildings, small retail units and a business centre have been damaged. There have been numerous fires and instances of damage
Svyatoshynskyi district: the façade and windows of a residential building were damaged, as was the roof of a nine-storey block
Pecherskyi District: minor damage has been reported at an unfinished construction site.
🔴 The enemy launched attacks on Kharkiv using 15 drones and two missiles; as of 7 am, according to the State Emergency Service, 14 people are known to have been injured in the region, including one child.
Osnovyanskyi District: private homes, administrative buildings, the grounds of a nursery school and civilian infrastructure have been damaged.
Slobidskyi District: an apartment block, cars and the street lighting network have been damaged.
Nemyshlyanskyi District: an office building was damaged by a strike, and a fire broke out.
Kyiv district: strikes on industrial sites have been reported.
🔴 In Dnipro, russian strikes have partially destroyed apartment blocks, damaged a business, a fire station and garages, and destroyed cars. In the city, 33 people were injured; 24 people, including a 16-year-old boy and a 13-year-old girl, have been hospitalised with moderate injuries.
There are currently reports of eight fatalities; at 9.35 am, the body of a boy born in 2023 was recovered from the rubble of a damaged building.
