Put up a vlog about the reason So Far is now off of google play.

Hello,

We were recently contacted by one of our digital partners (Google) regarding your content.

After looking at the streaming statistics associated with your albums, they have determined that an excessive

amount of streaming was being done from the same individual or computers. This is sometimes done by artists or fans to increase the visibility of their music. Unfortunately this is also a violation of the terms of service of most digital music distributors.

As a result of this, Google has decided to remove your content from their service.

Your content will remain for sale on the CD Baby website and will still be available with any of our other digital partners you are currently

using for distribution.

Please note - If we receive other complaints of streaming abuse from other partners, your content may be removed entirely, and any funds which have been accrued from abusive streaming will be unavailable for payout.

I’m hoping i can find some way to have a say in this, as the communications up to now have been between Google and CD Baby, who have kept me out of the loop. I’ll keep you guys updated.

Until then, please don’t loop my songs on streaming services. There are ways to purchase my music on Bandcamp and iTunes if you wish to listen to songs on repeat. Thanks.

ive been on tumblr a long time and i remember when everyone said “oh don’t romanticize mental illness” and it was agreed that doing that was gross and a good way to kill people indirectly

but somehow we’ve come full circle and there are people who legit defend their right to be anti-recovery there are people who don’t want to get better and spread the idea that you can’t get better as if it’s gospel and it’s fucking frightening to me bc nobody seems to want to say “hey? this is toxic and untrue and is your disease speaking, and it’s not something you should accept.”

and i feel like every recovery post gets about 500 of these people saying “this isn’t something that will work” “cool karen i’m depressed” “maybe it worked for you but it won’t work for other people” and that’s… just… im so sorry if you’re 15. i’m sorry if you’re in high school and watching grown adults tell you it doesn’t get better. that nobody says that with time and help and patience the world stops being so heavy, that accepting your illness as a fact is one thing but accepting it as the only way to be is just wrong, that you can learn to live with it and still find some degree of “happy”…. if i had seen this shit back when i was … oh god starting at 12 when i was already self-harming …. i think i’d have actually honest-to-god killed myself. not a joke, not a funny tumblr punchline, i would have actually just killed myself. 

i’m saying this right here and right now to the adults on this site. if you for any reason shoot down positivity that’s causing no harm - you might have indirectly worsened someone else’s condition, and you should try and do better in the future. if you find it necessary to tell people “recovery is a lie”, you need to do better. i know everyone has different circumstances, but i also know that mental illness behaves in such a way that everyone thinks they can’t recover.  if you feel like you should be spreading the Word Of Relapse, you are causing toxic language to be normalized and you need to do better.

The Chargeback Cases - Update - Alternatives to Paypal. [Urgent]

So to give a bit of an update since the call-to-action against these chargeback cases, things aren’t looking very pretty.

I’m not tossing the person’s name under the bus because I’m not an ass, but basically how these came about was that the person who donated to me shared a card with their stepfather. Stepdad didn’t approve of these charges and now claims the card as stolen, so all of the donations were forcibly drawn back and considered unauthorized.

Now, with that said, I gave this person the benefit of the doubt and asked them to reason with their father, and to call their bank to attempt to fix this.

Since then, I haven’t heard from them.

Fast forward to yesteday, I have yet to actually transfer the money earned from our little drive because I felt confident I could hold onto it until the 6th. I’m out getting food and then I get declined. Why?

Oh.

But now you’re saying “Adachi/Bara that’s way more than what they took from you!” And here’s the rub.

For every chargeback case under review, I have been charged a $20 settlement fee. Keep in mind that I had roughly $250 saved up to transfer to my bank before this suddenly replaced it.

This means I am now $745 in debt because of this /one/ person.

At this point, I can’t do anything but wait. This is a waiting game. Should I win this case, the money previously donated to me will be back in my hands, but right now there’s nothing I can do about my paypal.

There is however, an alternative solution I’ve found. It’s a bit of a stretch but I am going to ask for the help because if I don’t I will actually mc’fuckin’ die.

For those of you who are able to help, I urge you to sign up for this app called Circle Pay using my referral code.  Circle is a messaging app that also allows you to send/receive money from friends/family. 

 Upon signing up, if you send me a minimum of $25, you will immediately get reimbursed $5 from Circle, and I also earn an additional $5.

Furthermore, this has proven to not only be legitimate, but the funds are made immediately available to me through my bank via my debit card. Just also note that this is limited to US/EU and there’s no minimum for just sending money, only the eligibility for the promotion. Though it also accounts for any money sent over a 2 week period.

 This is the only way I’m going to be able to receive money that I can actually use until this gets resolved. I really have no other option or way of surviving besides this.
