Charlotte Martins is twenty-two years old. She’s a Photographer and a Stable Hand, and her face claim is Rose Leslie.
Background:
Probably the most normal kid out of the Martins bunch, Charlotte, who prefers Charlie as a nickname, is the middle child and most ambitious one. From a young age, the girl changed her hobby every few weeks and wanted to try everything before she decided on what her favourite was. From knitting to mountain biking and cooking, Charlie tried it all and wouldn’t stop until she was a master in whatever she was doing. Charlie grew up with her older brother as a best friend, and the two were often seen together. However, the girl became very popular due to her knowledge of almost everything, and left Kyle alone on regular basis. Queen Bee Charlotte was well known around town and school, and while she was one of the sweetest kids there, one thing was certain: mess with her family, and you’re dead. This included freaking out whenever a possible love interest for either Kyle, her mother, or Grace showed up. Charlotte became a possessive girl, not caring about what her family wanted in those situations, but only thinking about what would happen if they grew apart because of it.
At the age of seventeen, Charlotte met a girl that to this day is her best friend: Alexia Werner. Alexia seemed to be as passionate about everything in life as Charlotte was, and both picked up photography as a new hobby. Charlie found this to be her favourite hobby she had ever tried, and started thinking about becoming a professional photographer as the future came around. However, when Charlotte turned twenty, her best friend disappeared, leaving a note that stated to ask her brother about the situation. Charlie was very emotional about her friend leaving, and heard out her brother who then confessed everything. As a way to deal with knowing about his secret, Charlie turned to photography even more and moved out of the Martins house. She supports herself with photography and working at Foxridge Stables as a help in the stables.
Charlotte is an ambitious girl, fierce and loyal. She loves to party and just have fun, not thinking about what might come later. Charlie doesn’t live in the past or future; she lives for the moment and is much of a daredevil. Not scared of anything, she usually finds herself in the weirdest situations. She’s a social person, who loves talking, and likes to freak out strangers by doing weird things just to get a reaction out of them. She lives for fun, and not by the rules, which gets her into trouble more than it should. It seemed like her mother gave up hope on making this one become a lawyer or another well paid job, as Charlotte follows her dreams no matter what.
Relationships:
Kyle and Grace Martins: Her siblings. While Charlotte absolutely loves Grace and would do anything to not see her innocence go to waste, she’s feels weird about her brother. On one side, Charlie thinks he’s done the right thing by making the decision of not wanting a baby and helping Alexia get away, but on the other hand, she thinks it was wrong of him to steal, send Charlie’s best friend away without telling her first, and now avoiding Alexia. Charlie used to be very close to him, but since she knows about what happened, prefers to keep her distance as the image that she had of him, the perfect older brother, has been shattered.
Alexia Werner: Charlie’s best friend. They both are very passionate about photography and other things, which gave them an instant click. Charlie sees the girl as family and wouldn’t mind helping her out with anything, ever. When Alexia left town, Charlie went through a short state of depression. However, now that Alexia’s back, the girls have found each other again and started working on their friendship once more. With usual sleepovers, Charlie doesn’t mind having Alexia around her house, although she knows that taking her best friend to the pet shop wouldn’t be a very good idea.
Lucas Gabor: The weird kid in town that just loves to push Charlie’s buttons. Lucas reminds Charlie of her brother, but she hates being around him as he tends to take his jokes a little bit too far. With both of them working at Foxridge, Charlie tries to trick him on regular basis, just to get back at him. Charlie’s aware of her little sister’s friendship with this weirdo and wants that to be over with as soon as possible.
