Back in 2011-2013 Tumblr was my home. I also frequented YouTube and dove DEEP into the oldskool/jungle scene at the time. Well all that paid off today when the owner of this place I work at asked me who's music is playing. (He recognized it because he has it on vinyl) he was absolutely flabbergasted! I was even more flabbergasted!
I used to cry at how badly I wished I was at Fantazia 1992 NYE and here was this man who WENT TO FANTAZIA STANDING RIGHT NEXT TO ME GETTING GOOSEBUMPS AT THE MENTION OF 4HERO/TOM AND JERRY/BLAME & JUSTICE/METALHEADZ/REINFORCED/MOVING SHADOW RECORDS!
He also DJ'd on KOOL FM pirate radio, one of those from my time when I scoured That blogspot for DJ ASH's tapes 😭 holy hell!
He even knows Pursuit records, the whole amen edit debacle, he has his own vinyl collection and even knows about Kemistry and Storm!
Big ups to the man 🫡 I just had proof that I don't have to move a fucking inch to meet someone from the faraway lands of London and literally be a piece of History walking around lmao
