"I- erm…" Kairi fumbled with her fingers and looked down, embarrassed that she had been staring and hadn’t even noticed, before lifting her gaze to his again. "S-Sorry, I just wanted to say that I like your… hair…" I just wanted to say? I like your hair? Idiot! She silently scolded herself and cast a nervous smile towards the floor.

Patch smirked, nodding at her "Thanks. I like yours too." he chuckled, reaching up and carding a hank through his dark locks. Maybe the girl was just coming up with an excuse to speak to him, but hey, one can't complain.

Now in college majoring in art&design, Sydney could finally live a normal life. At least for the most part. She still had tk cover her scars with make-up everyday,but it was no big deal. Typically she spent her mornings sleeping in until eight and going to class at nine. then…

Patch turned at the voice and smiled briefly at the female. “Thanks.” He said simply, unsure why this girl was even talking to him. He was only here to practice a bit and let off some steam. And for the first time in forever he didn’t feel like writing a new song to let out his thoughts.

Sydney takes a single step closer, so she wouldn’t get to close and in his way. She observed everything he did as he striked the pins with the ball, “how do you do this so well?” She asks as she notices his score. “Im Sydney by the way”

Chewing on his lip slightly he turned to face her and waited on his ball. “I’m hardly any good. I used to practice with my brother’s.” He nodded, taking his ball as it came up and with a single swing knocked down all the pins, ending his game with a strike. "Pleasure. I'm Patch."

Screaming Love {open}

Patch laughed, shaking his head. “Well I doubt that. But thanks love.”

"Are you doubting my abilities? Ouch," she laughed.

"I'm not going to 'be that popular." He shook his head, "But thanks for the confidence boost love." He smiled

Patch sighed, catching his breath and diving under the water. When he resurfaced he smiled, running his hands through his wet hair as he stood.

"It feels amazing, right?" she grinned, the water filling her with a sort of energy. This is why she loved the surfing, and being at the beach in general. It was a great escape, a way to not think about the real world.

"It does. Its cool." He grinned, closing his eyes and tilting his chin up. The warm sun beamed down onto his wet face.

Patch laughed harder, “I don’t think any of that will be necessary.”

"Why not? When your boyfriend and I are done you’ll be the next Justin Bieber. Minus the douche, I’m hoping," she quipped.

Patch laughed, shaking his head. "Well I doubt that. But thanks love."

"Alright love." He laughed, finding it entertaining at how she pretended to.be offended.

"And t-shirts. I want to design the t-shirts," she added, laughing softly.

Patch laughed harder, "I don't think any of that will be necessary."

Patch walked into the water up to his waist, the waves splashing into his face. As he wiped bis fact he smiled at her, “Pleasure love. I’m Patch.”

"Patch," she repeated, "That’s a cool name." Gypsy ducked under the water, coming back up to the warm sunshine.

Patch sighed, catching his breath and diving under the water. When he resurfaced he smiled, running his hands through his wet hair as he stood.

Patch laughed softly, glancing up at her with a smirk. “Sure. But I think you’ll have to get behind my boyfriend.”

Gypsy sighed, pretending to be offended before laughing. “Fine, I guess I can make an exception for him. Though if anyone asks, I’m telling them that I’m number one.”

"Alright love." He laughed, finding it entertaining at how she pretended to.be offended.
