With and without lights

I use some religious references for his art like his tear are a reference to the art of Lucifer while making his art I use @fagcifer Damien art as reference for the hair. It makes sense do Damien history with different colors hair.

I like making Damien and probably make more art of him in the future. For now I will redesign Veni.

It gets pretty wonky since Ren has about three identities total. Himself, the Auctioneer, and finally, Fox. I think I might have to include them all when tagging a post unless stated otherwise. This will pretty much also be applied for other characters with different variants or similar (like Strade as you mentioned). ^^

I wonder what the thought process was behind Cain's design. I guess it could've gone a little hard as a middle schooler's edgy project in the early 2010's, but man, it doesn't hold up too well these days. Maybe it's the lack of anything really going around it? Otherwise, Merdeith did Cain dirty with that mohawk (or whatever the hairstyle is).

I love Damien but sometimes I think about how EP made a whole new character to be Cain’s brother instead of using Abel

EP certainly had a unique way of twisting the bible for their characters, even to a point where there's no "God", and weirdly enough, the Kojima twins were always involved.

Anyways, in EP's version of Cain and Abel, Cain apparently killed Adam along with Abel to watch them die because he was bored. From what I'm aware of, there's been no further elaboration other than that tidbit. It caused his fall and then Eve somehow got with Lucifer to conceive Damien.

If I had to take a guess for Damien's creation as a character, it was probably related to certain transliterations(?) of Lucifer and Satan not exactly being the same.

It could be pretty interesting if Abel managed to live. Thankfully, that's what alternative universes are for!
