Hades 2 got nominated for Game of the Year. I told Shado it was my Disappointment of the Year, but he reminded me of Monster Hunter Wilds (which btw is only nominated for Best RPG and will certainly not win), and I have to agree.

Because, even though Hades 2 could have been a wonderful story like Hades 1 and even though I could have spent 70 hours on it, I would have finished it by now, and it was never going to impact me like the first game did.

But if Monster Hunter Wilds didn't shit the bed, I would still be playing it to this day. I would have four hundred hours minimum, playing it for hours on end with my friends. I have had that experience denied, as their systems physically cannot run the game.

I love Monster Hunter but god Wilds need a fucking performance update, I bought my pc in 2021 to play World, it's 4 years old and still pretty solid but I can barely run it in unstable 50fps

review are mostly negative because of that and it's really sad cause under all that it's a pretty good game, I hope the TU 4 (promised performance update) help the game and when the dlc come out it is finished and ready for the public and not way too early to be on some stupid fiscal year
