Hey. Why isn’t the moon landing a national holiday in the US. Isn’t that fucked up? Does anyone else think that’s absurd?

It was a huge milestone of scientific and technological advancement. (Plus, at the time, politically significant). Humanity went to space! We set foot on a celestial body that was not earth for the first time in human history! That’s a big deal! I’ve never thought about it before but now that I have, it’s ridiculous to me that that’s not part of our everyday lives and the public consciousness anymore. Why don’t we have a public holiday and a family barbecue about it. Why have I never seen the original broadcast of the moon landing? It should be all over the news every year!

i dont think we talk about stone's line "I'm not there to protect you" enough and i think it warrants more discussion. 1) it supports the popular hc that stone was initially assigned to robotnik as a bodyguard of some sort. 2) its tragic as fuck

If/when Robotnik comes back in SM4 I don't want immediate stobotnik love, or fluff

I think Stone would be angry with him

And I think it would be the first time that Stone was EVER angry with Ivo Robotnik

Because slapping Stone around is fine (hot) and disappearing into thin air wasn't his fault, even his period of despair in the crab was understandable and Stone stood by him

But Stone can neither understand nor forgive Robotnik sacrificing himself to save Stone

Agent Stone has spent a significant period of his career worshipping Robotnik, he's pathologically obsessed. The idea that the doctor would be willing to die to save him would royally mess up his worldview, and I think it's entirely possible that it might be the one decision Robotnik makes that Stone believes to be wrong
