Connor grinned, a thrill running down his spine not just at Oli's remark that last night covered it in terms of ways to make Oli smile, which was already incredibly hot, but also the largely unabashed way Oli said it. "Hm, so more wine and cheese, then?" He teased, his wide grin giving away that he was not, in fact, thinking about more wine and cheese. Though he'd enjoyed that part of the evening too. He was also really enjoying the fact that Oli had apparently noticed him right when he'd started working at the pub, enough that other people had noticed him noticing Connor. Thankfully not so obviously he hadn't been able to hide it, though Connor wasn't going to mention all the things Nova had to say. Connor's grin widened when Oli laughed at his comments; he really liked Oli's laugh, especially when it was because of something Connor said. Connor chuckled, a little bashful when Oli said he looked cute with flour in his hair, which confirmed that Oli had definitely seen him with flour in his hair. Probably on multiple occasions. Thank Merlin Oli thought it was cute. Oli's addition was a surprise. Connor hadn't been fishing for compliments there, but he sure didn't mind Oli telling him he was just hot. Connor wasn't sure he'd ever get over the fact Oli thought he was hot, but what Oli said next was enough to pull his attention and have him letting out a surprised laugh. "Wait, you think it's weird that I smile a lot? How is that weird?"
"Wine and cheese are a good place to start. Though not too much of those either," he added with a smile that showed he knew Connor was teasing. Oli had maybe gotten a little too comfortable though since he might have just insulted Connor. "It's just a lot. I don't get it. Course Cene smiles a lot too. I guess it's just a Hufflepuff thing" Oli shrugged a little. Smiling so much just seemed like a strange habit to him. He was pretty sure you could be happy without smiling so much. "But like I said, it's not like a bad thing, it's just a little weird to me," he added with an apologetic tone. Hopefully he hadn't actually offended Connor. He didn't mean to.
