It certainly put things into perspective, that’s for certain.
How are you doing?
I’m doing fine, actually just got caught up on playing some games I’ve been putting off for the sake of productivity, so that’s been cool.
You?

I’m doing fine, actually just got caught up on playing some games I’ve been putting off for the sake of productivity, so that’s been cool.
You?
srychrlie:
How is it different? Neither of them think of us the way we thought they did. It’s exactly the same.
Maybe Stella wants to come back.
brinroberts:
Yeah, well, good luck with that. If I could stop thinking about everything that was happening, that’d be great. Instead I keep hearing that fucking noise. All the joints in the world isn’t taking away how fucked we are.
You’re telling me. I haven’t been able to meditate for weeks, but it’s worth a shot. Anything’s worth a shot at this point.
brinroberts:
Whatever. I finally get a couple days off, thankfully, but like - it’s exhausting.
I offered myself, Ollie. That should have been the most priceless prize there is.
That’s why one should never work until absolutely necessary.
I don’t think you phrased it that way, and I can hang out with you anytime. Well, I think, anyway.
srychrlie:
Dean cracked my arm in half with his foot. Yeah, I can believe it.
Good point. But Dean’s been a dick lately, I’d like to think that’s different.
claudiamarshall:
I miss the time when this was the primary concern of how the party would be.
Right? Making sure I can sneak alcohol somewhere was way less stressful than any of whatever’s happening now.
brinroberts:
And then three more days - I swear, there’s no rest for the wicked. Do government employees not get time off? I’m picketing.
Excuse me, are you calling me cheap? How dare you.
That’s just torture, I’d fight that arrangement.
But they are cheap prizes! You could’ve offered anything and yet...
brinroberts:
It’s gonna be hella weird without the Ascott’s there, not gonna lie, but like, pop a pill, smoke a joint, grab a shot. Worrying about Stella ain’t gonna bring her home. Might as well try and have some fun again.
Oh, I plan on indulging in all that as much as possible. Or at least until I don’t think about it anymore, whichever comes first.
braxtonroberts:
Fine, we’re Jon Snow. But Camille wouldn’t have kept this to herself if she really thought Stella was in danger. Or not coming back.
She also wouldn’t have said anything now if she thought Stella was not in danger.
srychrlie:
Camille knows better. You can’t say anything to anyone in this town without everybody in Illinois hearing it by the end of the week.
I didn’t think so either, but a lot of the things I used to think are turning out to be giant fuckin’ jokes, so maybe she did. Maybe Stella never gave a shit, about any of us.
Still gonna find Grayson and put him six feet under.
She had good intentions, though.
Can you honestly believe that after we’ve been friends for almost all of our lives?
srychrlie:
Yeah, now shitty dudes on Facebook have even more reason to say Stella was asking for it. Great. Thanks, Camille. You really saved the day.
Stella got into the Free Candy van on her own, maybe, but I don’t see how it makes any difference at all. We still don’t know anything.
I kind of don’t think it’s her fault? I mean, sure, it’s not ideal to come out and say it now, but it didn’t have to be public info, either.
I don’t think she’d just abandon us, whether she went willingly or not. I guess I just don’t want to think that, but whatever.
phnxaddms:
I didn’t realise you were so into backflips and wine coolers! Don’t worry, next time (which… is probably never I guess since the Ascott Spectre’s around but nbd) I’ll make sure you get an invite. I’ll put a dolphin sticker on it and everything. You’re very dolphin-y. 🐬
I guess. But her hanging around all alone in that huge ass house? Now, freaking five weeks later? It’s way too Pretty Little Liars for me.
Jumping’s a good relaxation method, I guess. Mixing it with alcohol is probably not smart, but I’ve never been one for much safety when it comes to it. Good choice -- I prefer dolphins to sharks.
Maybe she doesn’t know what else to do. But yeah, creepy’s the word for it.
srychrlie:
…like Aileen Wuornos?
I feel like she might’ve gone to the extremes, but hey, you never know what she got off on.
phnxaddms:
Yeah, I get you. It’s almost creepier in the daytime, right? Brin and I took some wine coolers and messed around on Stella’s old trampoline a couple nights ago, but I guess we can’t even really do that any more. Camille probably has laser vision.
Exactly! How come it took her so long to say anything? Why did she just fuck off after Stella disappeared? It doesn’t make sense. … Not that any of it does.
And you didn’t invite me? Damn, I miss that trampoline. But I think you’re right, she’s probably not going to be kind about visitors.
She’s gotta have her reasons. You have to believe she does, right?
phnxaddms:
Preaching to the choir, Haynes.
Did you see Camille like, skulking around their house last night with all the lights on? Super weird. She wouldn’t even look at me, and like, I know I nearly vommed on her shoes at Stella’s thirteenth birthday but it’s not like that. … If I didn’t know better I’d think she knows more than she’s saying.
I tend to avoid looking at that house these days. Just creepy when you know what’s happened. I don’t know... I guess there’s probably no logic in her not saying everything she knew, but I wasn’t even expecting this, to be honest.
braxtonroberts:
Woo yeah, self professed orphans!
… actually, that’s weird. Nevermind.
It does sound a bit off, there have to be better things to get out of that which you can exclaim.
braxtonroberts:
I mean, you’re not wrong but at least if she went willingly, we know… well, maybe she’s more okay than we thought. Ya know? I don’t know.
We know nothing. We’re Jon Snow, Brax. Jon Snow.
I refuse to believe she would still be there because of a fight with Cam. Siblings fight, they get over it.
