laying on his back, the warm sand almost makes him forget the hell he has stumbled into. he sits down to rest before going to the barrels to bring back enough water to cook, but forty five minutes pass. he doesnโt remember the last time he sat still for the sake of it, and he loses himself to the sound of the waves. even with his eyes closed, he notes the change of light behind his lids. he shields the sun with his hand as he stares up at them.ย โare you checking to see if iโm breathing?โ his tone is serious, but his smile says differently.ย โor just enjoying the uninterrupted view.โ
ย ย ย the day was dragging along - it wasnโt in oliverโs best interest to agree to the show, but he owed it to lila ... and himself to see if the remnants of their relationship were worth saving. but with the cold shoulder heโd received proceeding the opening ceremony, he decided likely not.ย wandering the island was the only concrete idea heโd developed, and so he had for what seemed like the last hour. finally making his way back towards the main land, oliver paused as his eyes focused on a body in the sand. could the reunions have gone so poorly alreadyย ? โ can you blame me ?ย i was banking on their being a bit of bloodshed, but i guess iโll have to erase the tallymark i made for you . โ

oliver was born in brisbane - moved to the states when he was young to new haven, connecticut. he attended university in new york with his major focused in finance. his intended goal was to become a venture capitalist, but shortly after graduation his grandfather fell ill back in australia. without hesitation, oliver flew back home to help his grandmother, not only to aid his grandfather, but also help around their bakery. he quickly fell in love with baking. he was hoping his relationship could withstand the long distance, but as of lately itโs began to wear oliver down especially with the time difference and his odd shifts around the bakery. heโs been a bit more on the timid side in his relationship - not wanting to hurt any feelings or cause more miscommunication, so heโs been sitting on these thoughts for a while, but is eager to speak his truth and break free not only in his relationship / but more so in general.ย
