I can't help it. SNL is a big thing and I was just worried that I'd get into my head too much and ruin everything. But luckily it worked out. I keep reading that my episode might be considered for the Emmy's, which is crazy and I don't know how much of it is true. Thank you, that's all I wanted to hear. Guess I sort of am. But there were so many fun people to talk to. You've never been out until the early hours? It was so great to hang out with you again. And that little trip was so needed. Now it's back to set. How's everything with the new album coming along? I hope you know that I'm coming to see you on tour for sure.

I understand getting in your head too much. It’s one of my favorite past time and kind of ruins a lot of good things for me. But I’m trying to do less of that, now. I’m not going to pretend to understand how Emmy nominations for that sort of thing works but if happens for you then I’m going to be your biggest cheerleader. I like my sleep a little too much to be out at unreasonable hours. You guys filming season two already? Everything for the album is going amazing. Might have filmed another music video and got to do the bbc live lounge. Which I always love. Just over a week until it releases. Not nervous at all. Nope.

you needed a nice vacation before you go in major pr mode. it was nice for me to enjoy a few days of not writing and working on my next album. I was talking to trevor and he brought up golf and since i prefer to play and not just sit and look pretty, i started learning. sounds good to me, just shoot me a text.

Major PR mode has been activated. Sometimes I’m forgetting what city I’m even in. But I got to spend a couple of days in London with Renee while doing so. Trevor? As in the hockey player Trevor? I speak to him from time to time. He’s a pretty cool dude.

i wanted to thank you for being such a lovely roommate! with how busy the days were i know we didn't get a chance to talk too much, but i had such a fantastic time and i hope you did, as well. we'll have to carve out some time to actually hang out on the next trip, if you'd like!

You were the perfect roommate, too. I didn’t know that there was so much to do in Napa and I’m feeling the need to go back at some stage. You know, I’d love that. Whenever the trip might be. What have you been doing since we left Napa?

I’m starting my tour up in September so I could probably come to one of your July shows? I think it would be so much fun to get out there on stage with you. But please, people wouldn’t not think of you just cause I’m there. You’re the star of the show, dude. I’ve never done anything embarrassing in my life, ever. What are you talking about?

You were pretty serious about that talk. I was a little surprised. I know you can be pretty scary if you want to be. Ah, seems like you keep each other on your toes, which is good. I'm happy for you, Liv. You deserve all the happiness. I promise it'll all be good stories. Maybe a little more funny to others than to you. But that might also give her some ammo to sass you with later so might not be the best idea.

Thank you for admitting that I can be scary. I appreciate that. I’m glad that you took me seriously with the conversation, though. Before Renee - I was kind of scared to be in a relationship with a woman. They’re much more intimidating than any man would ever be cause… stunning. But I’m really happy with her, honestly. It’s going to be interesting when we’re both working. Done long distance before, though. So things should be good. Sass is the basis of our relationship at this point. She keeps me in my toes.

If it was a competition then I would have walked away crying cause losing isn’t a good thing. I’m way too competitive for my own good. What have you been doing since we left Cancun? Anything fun? Taking some time to yourself?

I had the best time. Napa was indulgent, too much wine, too much good food, and way too many photos taken. The photo dump is absolutely coming. I’m currently in the very serious process of carefully curating the pictures. Did you have fun? I feel like everyone left there either fully relaxed or in desperate need of hydration.

All of those things don't sound so terrible to me, honestly. Maybe the too much wine part depending on how hard the hangover was hitting you. I had a lot of fun - I think there was the perfect balance between adventure and relaxing. Which I needed since everything has been all a go with the new album release coming up. Crazy to think people are going to be having it in a couple weeks.

I was watching Perks of being a Wallflower on the flight to London and tell me why I was crying even though I've seen the movie about a million times. I think that you're such an incredible actor. Do you have any projects that you're working on that I should keep an eye out for? @limelightlerman

you know you don't have to thank me. there's nowhere else i'd rather be right now. it was pretty impossible to pass up, yeah - especially since i get to play the ultimate groupie and see you in your element. i definitely get it. you deserve the craziness though and i'm holding you to that. i can't say when that'll actually be but what i'm doing definitely isn't the focus right now. what i did this week seems to be all for a bit. i think they mentioned something about maybe end of june or early july.

I'm thanking you anyway. Just wait until I actually go on tour - you're going to become even more of a groupie and I'm going to make sure we have the best dates in between. I'm looking forward to having a little down time where we're not constantly on the go. I forgot how exhausting this could be. End of June, huh? Does that mean we can go somewhere after my album drops to actually have a proper vacation? Cause having some time with just you sounds like the perfect way to celebrate to me. Plus if we go tropical... we can whip out bikinis. And that's going to be a view I'd enjoy.
