i’m not making a distinction between whether someone has been ‘accused’ or ‘convicted’ of rape bc the difference doesn’t matter in this situation - the club hasn’t addressed it in any way either way. plus surely we all know that a woman stating she has been raped by a man, especially a powerful wealthy man, very rarely make it past just being labeled as “accusations” bc they aren’t taken seriously by the public, by the rapist’s employer, or by any official means of justice.
