MOODBOARD 1/? - OLIVER JAMES PIERCE
“I stayed a night out in Paris where they don’t know my name And I got into some trouble with that drink in my veins I got a problem with parties ‘cause it’s loud in my brain And I can never say sorry 'cause I won’t take the blame I know I always go missing and you’re lying awake But if you ask why I’m distant, oh, I’m running away”
valeriecvstillo:
“Me, frame you? Wouldn’t dream of it.” The brunette tilted her head sweetly, fighting back a sly grin. Brows furrowed up at him as he apologized for her demeanor to the stranger, though the amusement in her face remained. “Pfft, out of it? Are you insulting my genius, Pierce?” Hands placed themselves on her hips. “You’re right, forgot I was forty. Should just come back in a Valentino gown and talk politics over flutes of champagne.” Sardonic tone referred to events back home. A playful brow quirked upon watching him sip the drink before handing it to her. The gesture was actually… sweet. He remembered. “Can’t say I’m sorry, but I believe a thank you is in order.” Nimble fingers wrapped around the glass. “So,” she held it up as a form of cheers, before taking a sip of one of her favorite drinks, “thank you.”
“you’re a bad liar, val,” he teased, grinning as he looked down at her. his fingers pushed through his hair, still dry since he hadn’t made it into the ocean yet. he hadn’t even taken the button down shirt off yet, but the night was still young. “genius?” oliver chuckled, “is that what you call it?” he added with a teasing smirk left behind on his lips. “oh, darling, it would suit you much better than this,” he grinned, playing along with her. oliver handed her his drink, letting her take a sip before holding his hand out to take it back. “you’re welcome, babe,” he muttered in response, surprised that she had actually said it. “for blessing you with my presence.” leave it to oliver to ruin a more genuine moment between the two. oliver took another sip from his drink before handing it back over to her to finish off. “why don’t you join me in the water for a bit? i promise, hands to myself,” he assured her, as if trying to beat her to it.

Oliver was much more fast to escape the stranger than Neil had expected. Perhaps he should stop feeling so surprised. The gentle peck was good as any greeting. “Almost missed the boat entirely.” He confessed before releasing a low chuckle that could hardly be heard between the crackling sound of the fire. Snow’s grinning face displayed it well enough. “‘but I had to grab this.” Both hands moved forward, left grasping Oliver’s wrist while the right held and placed an object into the palm with a slide to follow. The weight and shape of the object might have given it all away. It was a zippo, gold in color, and there was a minimal marking etched on one side. “Charles Bridge, ‘r… something like it. ‘remember taking that boat ride?” His heart skipped a small beat at his own mention, but he recovered. “You kept me warm. And those lights.” To his memory that evening was perfect, but then again his entire experience shared in Prague with Oliver was just as.
seeing snow was enough to make oliver forget about everyone else around him. the honeymoon stage of their relationship was going strong, and oliver couldn’t care less if it made others around them cringe at the sight. “i’m glad you didn’t baby. don’t know what i would’ve done if you weren’t here.” probably something he would regret later knowing him. his eyes shifted down to his hands, watching snow flip it so his palm was facing up and something was placed in the center. once it was revealed, oliver looked up at snow before back down at it, moving his other hand over to take it between his fingers. “snow...” he bit his lip, not used to such a sweet gesture. oliver couldn’t remember the last time someone had gotten him a gift when it wasn’t his birthday or christmas. he smiled softly, looking down at it still as snow explained the reasoning behind it. “never knew you were such a fucking softy,” he teased, voice low as he spoke. looking back up at him, he took a step forward and pressed the palm of his hand to snow’s cheek. “i love it, snow,” he assured him, leaning forward to press a kiss to his lips, followed by a couple more. “i love you,” he muttered before pulling back completely and flicking the top off and he chuckled, “do you have anything i can test this out on?” he asked with a small raise of his brow, hand falling to snow’s side as he spoke.
emersonxu:
Just getting to the party a bit late, something that Emerson was guilty of doing quite a bit. Sitting at the bar, his attention went from getting a drink to the guy walking towards him. A smile came onto his face, reaching out for the shot. “Don’t mind if I do.”
oliver grinned, handing over the shot before lifting his own to tap against the other. “drink up then babe. plenty more where that came from as well if you are still thirsty for more.” oliver turned to the bar, already ordering another round as soon as he took the shot. “enjoying yourself so far?”
vigilnick:
“‘quick sell on that one. ‘not that I can’t get just as wasted alone.” Nick was full of shit, of course, he often sought out such partners himself. It made the task more fun and less like, well, a task. “As you must know by now, roomy.” He took the shot in hand, smirking right back, and clicked his glass against Oliver’s preemptively. “Are you going to miss me? ‘hardly saw each other during the daytime. ‘tell me you managed to get out a little–and no, the beach by the hotel does not count.”
“if you wanted to get wasted alone, you would’ve stayed back in the hotel, babe,” he chuckled. oliver shook his head, watching his roommate with a small grin, “i’m going to miss you, nicky. although, i’ll admit. i’ll miss you shirtless a little bit more than your actual company,” he teased with another small laugh before taking the shot. “i got out some. did a bit of the tourist shit, but did more shopping than anything. we still have a couple more days though, so maybe you can take me out to see the city a bit more. deal?”
camouflagc:
okay so perhaps he’s broken a few of his own rules already: have fun but don’t get too drunk. well it’s safe to say he’s at least a little tipsy as he picks his head up. “oliver!” he chants, think soccer stadium chant, but much worse as he’s nearly whispering as well. “of course, why do you even have to ask party boy?”
oliver grinned, enjoying the enthusiasm that cameron had when he said his name. “well if it isn’t my favorite boy,” he teased, small chuckle slipping out as he held the shot out towards the other. “come on then. although are you sure you will be able to handle another shot? or am i going to have to carry you back to one of those cabins so you can pass out there?” he grinned.

It was lucky for Neil to have caught sight of Oliver at the moment. He saw no true harm in the younger man’s pension for treating others to a good time, but it would be a problem if Ollie hadn’t a chance to relax and enjoy it all himself. Walking up behind, Snow reached and dipped his index finger down the hem of Oliver’s swim trunks to tug him backward. “I’ve got something special for you. When you’re finished with buddy come find me.” He muttered through a soft smile before stepping off to join a few others beside the currently modest fire.
all it took was the small tug backwards for oliver to forget that he was even talking to someone else. clearly, snow was much more important than the ‘buddy’ he had been chatting with. oliver turned back to the person, handing his own shot over so that his hands were free before he was facing the opposite way and wandering over to snow. walking up behind the slightly taller male, he pressed a small kiss to his neck, “i was wondering where you were,” he muttered against his skin before walking around so that he could stand next to him. “something special? you’ve got my attention now, baby. what is it?” he asked, tilting his head slightly in curiosity.
jxstvce:
andrew normally wasn’t one for drinking games. he grew up in an environment where those types of things weren’t normal at parties and it was more usual to see people drinking out of champagne glasses and eating fancy appetizers. but drinking games? never. so he thought it was a bit understandable that he didn’t know how to play some of them. “okay, so teach me how flip cup works?”
coming from the same background, the same household even, the two brothers still seemed so different. maybe it was because of oliver’s frat boy days, but drinking games were definitely something that oliver excelled in. plus, he wanted to try to make an effort with his brother, but maybe that was the alcohol talking. either way, he let out a laugh when andrew mentioned flip cup. “why don’t we just save time and i give you five shots now since you are going to lose?” he grinned.
