They broke in and now it's all
Omega!Steve seeing Alpha be good with his ragtag group of pups and deciding he's definitely going to give them 6 of their own.
Omega!Eddie getting wet when Alpha casually makes the bullies back down with a glare and a sneer because no one knows what Alpha is capable of.
Omega!Billy being able to fight off the mindflayer because there is an Alpha who keeps making it easier for him to breathe.
The Party flocking under the care and guidance and love of Alpha because Alpha is there for them.

Alpha recognizing El was showing interest and wanting to join girlhood and helping facilitate that by taking her to get her hair done, taking her to get her nails done, taking her shopping, teaching to use her voice to express her desires, teaching her to not let anyone talk to her sideways, advocating for her, etc.
And when El goes through her Alpha puberty (argue with the wall, she's an Alpha), they help her learn to be an Alpha. Teach her what it means to be a good one. How to control the instincts and desires. How to be respectful and cognizant. How to handle ruts and heats and biology.

This is not meant to be judged or hate, but I genuinely don’t understand how people like Billy. Yes, he was going through abuse, but that man was also openly racist and homophobic. I don’t understand how people could just look past that. Maybe you can explain his appeal and I’ll see him in a different light 
Trust me, I understand completely where the Billy hate comes from. I don't really like him much either tbh because you are correct. He was homophobic and racist and he was someone who I probably would have fistfought if we went to high school together.
(But I also know I'd probably have fought most of the Stranger Things characters if we went to school together so....)
I like to write him because there is a lot that can be done with the character, just like with all the other flawed characters I like to write about. I mean a lot of the characters have written about have committed crimes against humanity and would have been punished under the Geneva Convention.
I'm also someone who loves a good redemption arc and he's a perfect candidate for that.
And at the end of the day, he's not real. He's a character. Made-up. And all fanfiction is is taking characters and puppeteering them into doing what you want and maybe someone in the audience will clap about it.

also i'm rather oddly endeared by The Public finding out ahkmenrah was an omega when his casket was first investigated, like all the imaging they do, and then imagining if his reincarnated alpha just gets these weird little? pings? or something, like they're more interested in this than they would have expected if it wasn't already their niche
I headcanon that Cecil has a hand in giving him his status back. He was there when Ahk was discovered and remembers his dad saying that one of the jars around his tomb contained a womb. He also remembers being confused as to why the published findings never mentioned it.
I think he comes forward with it, which leads to people looking into Ahk. He gets new imaging done and low and behold, Ahkmenrah is an Omega and his entire history needs to be reviewed and restudied.
Make no mistake tho. He did not do it out of kindness. He probably did it out of a greed. Probably wrote a book about the discovery and dropped that little bit of info in it and it exploded and he raked in big bucks for it.
I think Alpha probably loved Ancient Egypt growing up and had no idea and as soon as they meet Ahk, they are like "ah this makes sense now."
do you think Kahmunrah had anything to do with the obfuscation of his and Ahkmenrah's omega status and this was happily rolled along with by the archaeologist who stole him? or was it more due to the archaeologists of the time who would have felt threatened by these pharaohs being omegas and thus tried to rewrite the narrative?
I don't think Kahmunrah would have wanted his secondary gender erased. I imagine he was just as angry when he found out his Omega status was erased because in my mind, he had a mate and pups (at least two) during his 'reign' as Pharaoh.
Also given what is shown in the movie, his body was never found so they were able to get away with removing that status from him a lot easier than they did with Ahk.
Ahk could have his status restored to him via Cecil at least. Kah does not have that.
It likely wasn't a big deal what status the Pharaoh was because they were more concerned with bloodlines and how close they were to the gods.
I believe that archaeologists would have gone their best to erase any Omegahood that was linked to Power and Significance. Any major historical figure that was an Omega would have has it erased in some capacity.

Omega!Ahkmenrah cries when he realizes that he had been buried with his mating set, the chains and jewels wrapped delicately around his body to indicate he was a mated Omega pharaoh and was quite beloved by his mate but the researchers who discovered him removed them and sold them off to private collectors for profit and to hide his status as an Omega.
Omega!Ahkmenrah calls his Alpha weird ass nicknames like " my guardian", "my keeper" and "my liberator" on top of the cute ones because he has a thing for his Alpha being in a position of power over him, being responsible for Ahk's everything - heart, body, soul, freedom.
is there such a thing as a soft alpha? Like, the type of guy who is fit and strong, a leader but gentle, is a top but super kind and affectionate? Cause I feel like that’s ahks vibe
Alphas aren't just guys but yes there are soft Alphas. 90% of the Alpha!readers would be considered soft Alphas.
And you are correct. Ahk is definitely attracted to soft Alphas.

Okay so I was thinking. Alpha is a guard who works with Larry who gets hired right before Larry's company takes off and he disappears for a while.
Alpha guard has a solo shift one night and as the sun is peaking over the horizon, someone breaks into the museum. Many of the exhibits are still conscious but they are stiff already so they can't warn Alpha.
Alpha is attacked and while the fight is there, they were caught by surprise and the intruder had a weapon.
The last thing some of the exhibits see before sun rises is Alpha on the floor in a pool of blood and not moving.

Omega!Jed and Omega!Octavius who are a bonded pair and very happy and not looking for anyone else until they both catch sight of Alpha in a brand new diorama display.
Omega!Jed and Omega!Octavius who watch from afar while Ahkmenrah gets the new comers up to speed and calm their nerves, Alpha unaware of them and how attractive they find Alpha as they settled behind the glass.
Omega!Jed and Omega!Octavius don't want to hurt each other so they attempt avoid Alpha specifically but that doesn't work because life is not kind. Turns out, Alpha is actually really amazing - not just amazing looking - and oh no, that's bad. Thats very bad. Their shared brain cell? Now divided into three pieces (one for them, one for Alpha, one for keeping horny thoughts about Alpha at bay)
Omega!Jed and Omega!Octavius catch Alpha's scent and they have to hide how weak-kneed it makes them. Jed does fall over and he blames it on his new chaps (he does not have new chaps.) Octavius exe reboots when Alpha smiles at his actions.
Omega!Jed and Omega!Octavius get jealous of an Omega in Alpha's diorama trying to get their attention and they end up bitching about it to eachother....which leads them to look at each other in the eye and go "You like them! NO, you!" for a good thirty minutes before they decide "We want them." Their shared brain cell clicks back together.
Omega!Jed and Omega!Octavius going through a shared heat right after and finally being able to explore the possibility of having an Alpha with them.
Omega!Jed and Omega!Octavius deciding that it would be best to try and court them as team and its...a mess. Neither one of them know how to court an Alpha so they wing it with advice from the internet. Alpha is very confused. Alpha doesn't know why they keep shouting "Look at us" before doing something very stupid.
Omega!Jed and Omega!Octavius being so caught up in their failed attempts that they don't realize that Alpha has been leaving little courting gifts for them, trying to gauge their reaction and see if they are overstepping.
Omega!Jed and Omega!Octavius being told by Larry of all people that they should be more careful with people's feelings because stringing Alpha along and then rejecting them is pretty mean. Octavius and Jed shift from having no idea what he's talking about to being mortified.
Omega!Jed and Omega!Octavius who eagerly accept Alpha's courtship (very much doing so in front of that Omega they don't like) and spent the next few nights away from prying eyes.
