In the aftermath of a galactic war, humanity struggles to contain the remnants of alien technology that had once ravished entire planets. This task has fallen to the United Nations Security Council Subcommittee for Extraterrestrial Technology Search and Recovery, often simplified to the Subcommittee. With resources spread thin and a possible new discovery found, the Subcommittee must turn to a very… unlikely team of soldiers. Yes! We will post a cast list most likely sometime next week.

How long until we know if we’ve been casted or not?

Casting decisions are currently still being made. You should be receiving a decision email sometime this week as a reply to your original audition email.

I’m curious about audition numbers. Now that auditions are closed can you release them?

All told, we received 66 auditions, and we greatly appreciated every single one!

Thank you to everyone who auditioned! We’ll be taking the next week or so to make casting decisions. Once decisions have been made, we’ll reply to your audition email with either an acceptance or a rejection. If it is a rejection, we’re sorry in advance. If it’s an acceptance, you’ll have 48 hours to decide if you want the role. If you say yes, then you’ll receive an invite to the cast and crew discord server.

We encourage you to audition for any roles you find interesting! We’re choosing not to share audition numbers at the moment precisely because we don’t want to influence anyone’s choices.So go for whoever! We’d love to hear your audition!

Y’know, while Daveed Diggs wasn’t the actual inspiration, we can definitely see the resemblance! Anzam is of Arab descent, as is his face claim inspiration. That’s the only hint we’ll give you.

Yes, they are! We gave the artist face claims as reference for each of them. Try to figure out all six! We think one in particular will stump you.

I can record audio on my camera and splice it from the video on my laptop but the it is in .MOV format. Is that ok or should I convert it to mp3 and if so do you have any suggestions for converters?

In the audition document, we specify to send your audition in as an mp3 file. We don’t have any particular suggestions about converters, but we’re sure there are plenty of free options available.

Hello! Is it ok if I send auditions made with a not-exactly-high (see: bad) quality microphone? I'm getting a decent mic soon but I really wanna get my auditions in asap

If your recording equipment is coming in before the audition deadline, we would highly recommend waiting. Audio quality is taken into consideration when reviewing auditions, and we wouldn’t want your chances to suffer because of bad quality.

If your equipment won’t come in till after the deadline, then we would recommend coming off anon and messaging us so we can discuss your specific situation with you in private.

There’s nothing saying you can’t, but just keep in mind that audio quality is taken into consideration when reviewing auditions. We would recommend auditioning using whatever recording setup you would use if you were cast.
