Hello friends - t’is I, E, crawling back from the grave to lament about the fact that the mystrade, sherstrade, and teenlock tags are now nonexistent on omegle for whatever reason :((

For the other ghosts that still haunt omegle for Sherlock RPs, so far ‘greglock’ seems to be a decent alternative for sherstrade - maybe ‘lecroft’ for mystrade too? 

Not sure about teenlock but hey, guess we’ll just have to be all the more considerate about age changes in normal ship tags, huh? 

(also this probably isn’t an incredible comeback to this blog, but I’ll check back again in a bit to see if this helps anyone at all anyway - who knows)

An Update

Hullo, mod E here. Just touching base fairly briefly. 

Sorry that things have been so dead for so long. There’s been a lot of changes happening IRL for me over the past long while and I just haven’t had the time or energy to really come back to this, or even omegle in fact. I’m pretty sure things for S and J had been similar. 

Tbh I’m only popping back in now because I’ve only just started dabbling with a little omegle RP again lately, and am hella frustrated by the state of it. It’s so rare now to find anyone who can write well, who has decent characterisation and creativity, and who can manage writing more than just a few lines, or anything more than just fucking smut. It seems just as dead as this heckin blog. So I’m bitter as hell, and that’s why I’ve popped back up again. 

Because tbh, that’s why this blog started at all. ‘Cos I was frustrated and wanted to shout into the void about shitty strangers on the internet. 

Anyway, it’s obviously a bit more than that now.  Probably a bit more than I ever wanted it to be.  

But to cut to the chase, without actually wanting to give up the reins on this thing entirely, I am opening up a new slot for another mod, if anyone’s actually interested. So, applications open, I suppose. I’ll try to stick around long enough to see if anyone’s keen. 

Thanks to everyone who follows this flaming mess, and who’s stuck with us through the minor dramas that have come and gone, and who made this hella entertaining to run back in the day. I probably won’t be gone for good, and I’ll hang around for a bit in the next few days, but expect another long hiatus from me soon. 

Hopefully by then I’ll have someone else to try and revive this thing.

what happened to Mod J?

Well, this is probably dickish because I haven’t contacted the other mods, but I had some things that needed addressing above tumblr. I quit my general blog, my RP blog, and this blog. Basically, I quit tumblr. 

I was horrible to E in not telling them, but things were hard. I don’t think I’ll be coming back to this blog. I may consider a general blog. 

But not for a while. Right now, I have to focus on me.

Oh no, there’s plenty of content, we’re just not around as much. 

I’ve been really hung up with work and polytech, I’m not sure where J’s at, and I’m fairly sure S has signed off for good. 

We’re gonna have to open the floor to bring a new member on if we want to keep this thing alive. It’s just a matter of how to organise that.
