Stills from the Anniversary Letter mini stories. I still hold that a month isn’t an anniversary, but it’s the easiest to conceptualise in English I guess.

One of the things I really love about these is how they’ve used the same outfits as the character sprites. It makes sense, since before each of these stills there’s a bit with the character sprite monologuing, but still it’s fun to see the outfits in action rather than just as rather static sprites. <3

so apparently the Asset’s name in The Shape of Water is Charley

Reblogging for two reasons.

1.    They let Charlie the Tuna get used in the crappy animated feature Food Fight but he couldn’t get name dropped in the most successful and award winning film of 2017?!  Really!?

2.    I wanted a name to call him other than The Asset or River God so now he’s Charley. 

3.  There is now a River God named Charlie.    This goes right up there with the Game of You characters calling Morpheus by Murphy in Neil Gaiman’s Sandman. 

4.  This makes the movie more like Beauty and the Beast than it already was.  In Disney’s version, Beast’s name is Prince Adam but he’s never called Adam in the movie.
